    Since I started with VCV there was not a single patch without at least one Ochd in it. I'm so happy that it's back!

    I couldn't for the life of me remember what collection was missing... happy to finally have them back!
    Now all I need is for LittleUtils to come back, so my patches don't look like a spaghetti mess! 😂

    Good one Omri, short but sweet with really nice patches. So good to have the Instruo plugin back again, and looking forward to playing with the new ones. Thanks!

    Some really nice sounding patches here, Omri. You are the master Instruo instructor!

    Thank you Omri for your tips, once again very helpful for a newcomer to VCV like me. I am very satisfied with my Patreon subscription to your channel.

    I've been doing some hard (but rewarding) time with this collection, e.g., the complex oscillator, the multimode filter, the FM oscillator, *and* I'm now looking at the mixer -- lìon -- a really interesting gizmo. But because of the trs cable angle and the split cable send/return functionality, I am puzzled about how much and what functionality the VCV version actually has implemented. It's hard, at least for me, to find any tutorial information for the VCV side. You use it almost in passing in the first patch example which is great. But can you point me to any other VCV specific information of this module? I'm reading the manual but making the translation to VCV is... fraught but (again, I guess) fun! Thanks as always.

    • @edwardnixon1782
      @edwardnixon1782 Před 2 lety

      Yeah. An afternoon with lìon: looks like most if not all of the 'pin' functionality works as documented. Sadly, the passive mult doesn't seem to. And, of course, VCV doesn't have TRS connections; so the send patching can't happen, at least as per the patch examples. This gets a person to wondering: if there can be VCV poly cables, why can't there be stereo and/or bi-directional cables too! But that's probably a conversation for another place. Thanks again.

      Yeah, Lion in VCV will work a bit differently then in hardware but the main idea is still there. I thought about this for quite some time and I realized that making a video about the VCV version doesn't make so much sense. But it's still fun to get the basic idea.

      @@OmriCohen-Music There's a DivKid vid with many 'chapters' pointing to various lìon patch ideas. I might try some of them just to see. There *is* appeal in being able to re-route or modulate just with a click or two. Here's the link: czcams.com/video/nrZli9Vmg9I/video.html Grist for the mill.

    Ty for this video! Right now, only really missing the salvatrice sequencers (doubt if those will ever be moved to vcv 2) and the starling collection... should anyone know if those are going to be lifted to vcv 2... wouldn't mind info on that :).

    Wonder if they'll ever do Arbhar or lubadh.
    /I own the physical Arbhar.

    Stoemmelder (is that right name?) should do a module that can modulate bypass… like have it transparent and back with some fast lfos…

    • @OmriCohen-Music
      @OmriCohen-Music  Před 2 lety

      The Strip module had an OFF trigger that will turn modules off. Now that Off became Bypass, maybe it will still work...

    If I upgrade to VCV 2 what will happen to my patches?

    • @fakesummer3942
      @fakesummer3942 Před 2 lety

      They should work just fine as long as all the required modules have been updated for VCV Rack 2.

      VCV 2 is a separate install from VCV 1, so no need to worry!
