    That’s not even mentioning how well he organised the back line defensively. Watch how well he communicated off the ball in defence, such an impressive player!

    Jean de Villiers and Jaque Fourie were the GOAT and BEST Midfield combination SA ever had.

    From an ABs Fan - Before Nonu and Smith - There was Fourie and JDV - Both formed a deadly midfield combo and the worlds best at the time as part of a brilliant Boks period of dominance pre-post 2007 rwc win. I'll never forget 2009 when the Boks beat us 3 straight times - painful- to watch but totally respect

      Yeah 2009 was magical for us....beating ABs 3-0 in one year. Felt like I died & went to heaven😂😂 was nice especially after being dominated by the ABs more often than not. Glad we're able to bring more respect to the rivalry since 2018, as it is 5 wins a piece + 1 draw😍🔥

    He always kept everyone on the edge off their seats. He is a typical example of what you could achieve with hard work. He just had the ability to read the game, and he always had an edge over the opposition.

    • @louisvanniekerk2612
      @louisvanniekerk2612 Před 6 měsíci +1

      You must be joking Am only excels due to the powerful inside centres he played with. Lately he is not blessed at KZN with a centre of that calibre. Am is average. Danie Gerber is the best no13 ever. Fourie Andre Snyman John Gainsford Tjol Lategaan and Joggie Jansen all of them were better than Am. Jesse Kriel is much better than Am. If Am would have played against France we would have lost, reason being Am is to slow to turn in defence which Jessie did frequently and that ability was the main reason why we won. So please Am is long forgotten. Am is made by the inside centre who creates the space. Am does have the ability to side step and neither does he have the pace of an outside centre.
