- The Super DIRTcar Series made their return to New Egypt Speedway after 10+ years... Mike Mahaney and the 35 team were ready to tackle it but had a few setbacks that had them racing through the struggle throughout the night. The team threw everything at it!

It’s only the beginning of the season I was just watching an old rerun of a race 2015 at new Egypt in July when your dad had a three barrel roll and finish the race a true legend in my mind I was glad to see Junior came in second it’s hard to pick a favor. I became a Mike Mahaney fan two years ago after watching your channel. And Billy the kid it’s hard to cheer for when they were racing together at an event I just hope they finish strong together Thank you for sharing your channel awesome videos of behind-the-scenes of true American dirt racing ☮️❤️🏁🏁

Funny how Mike let's up and my foot keeps pushing down were id rather get the car to roll more under power....I can't stand when you can't get on the throttle bc your waiting for the car to apex .. ugh. Great job though keep your fight going!👊🫵🇺🇸🏁
It's true that y'all rode the struggle bus but there were other good teams on that same bus with you. It's only Race 1 (on a tough track unfamiliar to many) so once you return to the greener pastures of NYS (and Ontario/Quebec) watch for the 35 up front!!

i went to that race last night (first race for me in New Jersey since Flemington in 96 when i was a kid), i still cant believe the rain held off long enough to get that race in
I also had to stopped at a Wawa in the way home, i figured that i had too lol

You said you couldn't see turn 1 from where you were by 4 ...I was by turn 1 and couldn't see the Flagstand! Dustiest that I have seen ever!

Were the cameras different? The motor sound on track sounded labored. It also looked like the motor never pick up very well even on restarts.
Sometimes your day sucks! Highlight what went right and go from there to make improvements!

I've never understood why promoters keep running longer races early in the season when they know the track is going to go to hell....if it isn't there already. Only one happy is the tire truck owner. How about twin 30's with a top ten inversion after the first race while teams get to work on the cars and the track gets a little help? Just askin'

That track was a embarrassment.
I don't think they had much control over the weather. They did their best to get the show in & all the drivers raced on the same track.
Hard to watch...I would've pulled off the track and saved the equipment(too early to worry about points). Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and admit you didn't bring a well prepared car to the track.
I think you can’t wear every hat & win in this day & age need crew cheif
