- [News] Starbucks allegedly fires employee in Plano, TX after she is assaulted by customer
Video shows the moment a woman throws two drinks at the employee and drives away. The incident was over a refund.
If i were her i wouldve sued that store for firing me after i been assaulted and dealing with that kind of behavior
Shaming Starbucks publicly until they make an apology has been a constant pattern
Remind me never to work for Starbucks. It's stances like this that made me quit supporting Starbucks many years ago.
It's hard to get a job there because everyone wants to get in but who cares they don't pay much😂
Suleen Zaxoli. Works for Hilton.
😂
this deserves to be the pinned comment.
Suleen is disgusting! So entitled! A rich Karen. I will never get a room at any Hilton Hotel!
That lady needs to work at a drive through window just to see how to deal with people like herself. I bet anything she’d definitely change on the way she treats people. Not just in drive through windows but people in general. She seems like she has anger issues.
Quit treating service job workers like this because they're the one person you feel like you're better than. Meanwhile this nasty drive thru Karen will most likely go back to work as a secretary or at a Kohl's tomorrow. So high and mighty aren't you Karen? 🤷♂️
This karen should lose her job too. And she should be arrested for assault. Only fair
I mean it's not exactly fair. The karen being arrested would totally be fair, and I could totally understand if her employer fired her because she seems more than a bit unhinged, but what did the employee do to get fired?
I mean anybody whos been around conflict could tell she was getting ready to throw the drink 😂 Starbucks may have screwed this one up bc the girl that was fired may win a lot of money.
These don’t look hot but as a general rule NEVER THROW DRINKS FROM STARBUCKS. You could be charged with felony assault. JS
We only know what is on their videos, but Starbucks knows the whole story by reviewing the security footage and then fired the employee. Anytime someone posts a video 1/2 way through an argument you can assume they are hiding something.
Exactly
Most places have a rule when incidents such like this occur where it’s at this level of confrontation they tend to let the employee go even if they didn’t necessarily do anything wrong , ex. Arguing with a customer who called you a b word , yes you have the right to defend your self but the company may see you saying anything back regardless was wrong , sometimes you have to choose your respect over a check 🤷🏾♂️
If Suleen is fired from Hilton Hotel I would consider booking a room at a Hilton, until then never.
The driver is miserable and her significant other is most likely cheating on her if she has one
😂 it's probably her dog
Employee, please just get an attorney don't even try and fight for your job. They do not pay you enough to deal with idiots like that.
Figures. Tables are turned all wonky. Good is evil and bad is good.
Starbucks is so wrong for firing this employee, but in fairness, I’m pretty sure “being highly mentally unstable” is a requirement to get hired by/work at Starbucks.
How Awful and Disrespectful
Time to call lawyer from Seinfeld sue the Corporation
I hope the cops followed up.
Usual suspects
The customer should be charged with assault.
Fkn camera phones. Terrible.
Maybe there's something missing here, as well as in similar videos. Was the Barista already a problem? Is the video not showing something that happened seconds before? Is Starbucks Management or Corporate unreasonable? Do they take the customers side, no matter what? If I was the Barista, I'd sue. Do Baristas sign a document agreeing to "I could be terminated even if Im not at fault?".
Just like Sam’s club they fire you for no reason
I really want to see the whole video before i form any opinions on this. i’m a starbucks employee and im not surprised that the employee got fired, there are so many aspects of this we don’t know. what i was told is to just let the customer get it out(yelling, complaining, etc)and try to fix it in any way, even if that means giving them a refund or a recovery card, etc. i would’ve kept my cool, not recorded, not escalated by responding to their comments or telling them im pressing charges and let my managers and dm know instantly. everything is recorded on starbucks end, so as long as i don’t retaliate in any way there wouldn’t be an issue. or, i would’ve asked them to just leave, or closed the window. because why are they going to do, yell at or throw their drink at a window????
Yeah and how much longer are you gonna take the crap for minimum wage for a company that makes BILLIONS and could care less??????
She’s streaming for clicks on the internet
When do we reach peak feminism? Are we there yet?
Crossed the waterfall but delusion is a powerful mental health condition
Does anybody have an update?
Yes, she is still doing only fans..
She is argueing disrespectfully fighting with customer we can see how this worker made paying customer mad, doing her job bad not even straw there and before the video what happened is obvious that’s why Starbucks saw whole record and fired her. But throwing drinks was not good thing too.
Workers are people too. Think of ur loved ones in that girls shoes. It’s traumatizing working retail… I’ve done it for 26 yrs “the customer is not always right”. Our first amendment is freedom of speech and that lady’s lucky the girl didn’t exercise her second amendment and defend herself… entitled people are the worst and act the most like children.
All these comments blaming the lady, but do we even know how this all started? The lady didn't just start filming all pissed off for no reason...
Plano privilege
Plan B all the way
Bring back accountability...then bring back bullying...then bring back the military draft...Good composure from that hard-working staff member! *salutes*
Sue the store
More of today's younger generation entitlement. They wouldn't act like this if punching people was legal.
Probably an out of towner who just moved into dfw
Maybe her next workplace will have some useful guidance and training about out how to handle her responsibilities differently to avoid escalating the situation to this point altogether. I've dealt with some horrible customers but having a record off is not the way. Seems like the customer was only having an issue with the person recording too.
Also, no, I'm not victim blaming. It's obvious you shouldn't throw stuff at people cause you're upset.
Sounds like you're trying to victim blame. Good job @$$hat
Exactly.
First of all nobody gives a crap about your opinion on anything here. Secondly, the worker has a right to record because there were obvious things that led up to her feeling the need to record in the first place. Third, if it wasn’t for her recording her own battery, the nasty person that drove off would have gotten away with it. Now go ride off into the sunset on that high horse of yours before you get a knuckle sandwich. 🥪
Her own community in the comments snitching on her, pathetic.
Only crooks use the word snitch or snitching
Muslim ?
close the border , these are the grandchildren
I don’t agree with the throwing the drinks but the worker could of just refunded her from the start. This escalated quickly for no reason. The reason why she got fired.
The customer tried to get a refund when she got her drink already. She was trying to get the drink for free. So when the employee refused to give her a refund the customer then threw the drink. The customer was in the wrong
The way you talked to youre customer is #NASTY. youre going to go through ALOT of jobs before you figure it out. Don't bring your attitude to work young lady.
You could tell this customer was being difficult from the start. Refusing to move her vehicle and then throwing drinks at someone. You could tell she got some splash back and she deserved it. The employee didn’t call her names or anything. All things considered she was showing restraint while that woman who was being repeatedly disrespectful. If the woman really had an issue, she could have pulled around and parked and walked inside. Instead she decides to berate an employee in the drive thru and make people behind her wait til she’s done throwing her tantrum so they could pull up next.
@@crackers23why would it matter whether she pulls up inside or in the drive through because someone is waiting on her either way
@@crackers23 the girl only started the video after she insulted the customer and you didn't know what you're talking about clearly
