Oatmeal Cookie Recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction

1 and 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks; 230g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1 cup (200g) packed light or dark brown sugar
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
3 cups (240g) old-fashioned whole rolled oats

I have PTSD from some bad events that happened 6 years ago in my life. I just found your channel & im so happy that I did, I myself live a simple life though not in a rural area. Would love to experience the serenity of rural life for once but im still grateful for the odd peaceful moments I get at times through the day. It really is a breath of fresh wholesome air watching your videos & I find it therapeutic on a spiritual level. I hope I can live a life like what you have, though simple its absolutely peaceful and free of stress. I use to hate living here in the countryside, I felt stuck and I couldn't wait to make enough money to finally move to a 'first World country' but finding your channel and watching your videos, seeing you living the small town life in the most simple and elegant makes me appreciate my life a little bit more.
I decided to start documenting my life and it's has been so freeing to just be myself and share it with the world . I owe it all to you, you have been my greatest inspiration . and knowing that we share the same faith makes it even better

I started making a silent vlog myself after I watch so many from others, the relaxation i get is really great, that I want to be able to share that to others too :) tho I don't cook, I need too.. kids, school ( I'm in college) its all getting out of hand sometimes, but lately I'm learning to handle them better. Now the bible.... I am like you, I think I read the Genesis part so many times.. I may have to rewrite some of my favorite verse , just so I won't forget ( thanks for sharing)
