    Ya dont believe the crime drop. Most violent offenses remained elevated in 2023 compared to 2019, the year prior to the outbreak of COVID and the widespread social unrest of 2020. There were 18% more homicides in the study cities in 2023 than in 2019, and carjacking has spiked by 93% during that period.

    We know that unemployment is calculated by the people who have interviewed within a specific period of time. Do we know if the black unemployment is low because of lack of interviews which eliminates people.

    Also lots.of black.have to.take on 2 plus jobs
    How much of that is superficially lowering the black unemployment numbers?

      The majority of the jobs are returning jobs from the pandemic, government and hospitality...none of these really drives the economy
