My goal with this video and TikToks is to educate as many people as possible about the hypocrisy in the UK. Currently, it's legal to ride rental scooters, that the government collects revenue from, but it's illegal to buy one and ride it yourself. Even the exact same scooter is illegal if you don't rent it from them. They are stopping anyone that uses their own scooter. It's a human rights violation and the people of the UK need help. It should be a basic human right to use the best transportation for your needs, you shouldn't be able to just ban a useful invention for the sake of profit and politics.
How do we convince them how foolish this is? They blame it on someone who died from a scooter, but people die from everything. Why don't they ban privately owned bikes or cars? It's the most backward way of thinking. UK parliament needs to get their act together.

I was chased by police roughly a month ago in London, U.K. I was doing 20mph 😁 just lost them by riding onto a canal and over the bridge. I watched them reverse away in shame.

i ride around on a YUME MYX11 in the UK the saying is dont stop for the police as you will only lose it to them . lol keep going and dont stop as long as you have a fast scooter you will get away .

@@ScootaGang also, what I found useful is that if you're indoors go in a zig zag motion, you can practice outside with cones if you need to.
And try to keep the zig zags as tight as possible too

This is a funny video. Btw, what a shame for the cops in UK. I also hate those restrictions on motor voltage, scooter weight and maximum built in speed. I bought a higher performance scooter because it's more stable and it can carry my weight and take me up hills.
Yeah it's not logical to have speed limit for every other vehicle but have motor limits for scooters. It literally doesn't make sense at all. I can control a big scooter just as well as a tiny scooter even at slow speeds. I saw a report that last month London seized something like 500 E-scooters from people that were just riding. They weren't criminals that just robbed a bank. Literally just riding to work or whatever...

But guess what the govt will be making escooters legal very soon, however there will be a restriction of 15 mph with a motor capacity of 250 watts and they will only be allowed 9n the road and cycle ways.

The UK govt doesn't want people using alternative transport because the govt makes too much money off taxing people to use their cars, think about it what happens when people wake up to alternative transport, the tax money is lost.

Fast scooters are here to stay and help people travel more freely. I think the laws will follow as the technology advances and people realize that heavier, faster scooters, are legitimate and even sometimes superior modes of transportation.

Most of Europe is very restrictive. Even in Germany and Norway I think the top speed is 12 kph, which is essentially worthless.

I dont stop for cops. Theyve been after me twice now with one full on pursuit. NFG. While I push the boundaries of the laws currently governing these in my state, I ride within those boundaries. Some people dont like it, and I dont care.

I deal with London police alot on my scooter, while they are thugs and I really hate them that guy 100% was being stopped for something else, looks like how they stop when reports of a weapon, they sent aloud to be that heavy handed without good reason

I'm in the US, hence why I feel free to make a video like this as we have freedom of speech and freedom to protest. And yes, unfortunately, I have had some others ask too and I don't think Yume can get the scooters there right now. Sending one scooter long distances is a nightmare logistically and it's only worse due to the worldwide shipping crisis. Shipping is at record highs right now and apparently double and sometimes triple of the beginning of the year.

hello i'm planing to buy yume y10, i just want to ask
*longest range in 1 charge
*top speed in mode 3 single hub
*top speed in mode 3 dual hub
*does battery degrade rapidly after months of use?
1. Range gear 2 only is 37 miles. Range in gear 3 only is 27 miles.
2. Don't drive any dual motor scooter in single motor, it will burn out your rear controller far quicker.
3. Top speed is about 35 mph.
4. Lithium batteries are typically rated for about 500 charge cycles before any degradation, so that depends how much you ride.

and one more question, you advised that don't run single hub on a dual have scoot, means you're using dual hub on the range and top speed info you gave? thank you in advance
@@von9794 No it's not exactly about the front controller causing a malfunction. It's that if you run in only single motor then it over works the rear motor and rear controller. This can cause those to overheat or even fail prematurely. The added heat will add extra resistance that will make it even less efficient once it warms up.
And to answer your second question, it's actually more efficient to run dual motor scooters with both motors on. People have done some tests on facebook and you get more range out dual motor than single motor. It's just better to run dual motors unless you have to enter a heavily congested area with lots of pedestrians or something.
@@ScootaGang base on you info i've decided to buy one, and i believe you also specially on running both motor it will relax the motors from running, on last question 😅, is there a way to extend the range of fork extension? because i'm 80 kg maybe my weight will consume all the range just buy riding on it, for the rear no problem i can upgrade to longer one but can't upgrade if front is short it will be imbalanced
