I think DE should remove the simulacrum enemy level cap being tied to your mastery rank. As an MR16 I'm capped to 125 while regularly facing lvl 225 enemies
i just started playing last week after a three year break. i’ve been watching your videos almost exclusively for help. and this time i didn’t even get two minutes into the video before i learned something new. i appreciate this so much 🙏🏾
Thanks for the updated guide Blacky! I was really looking forward to it. I'm also really glad that not all Warframe creators switched to The First Descendant. :D
again a very informative and nice explanatory video with great visual elements! damage and status types have always been extremely complicated from me starting warframe up to this date and they have constantly been changed from damage 1.0 to 2.0 and now with the damage/status type reworks. it's really hard to keep up with all the changes if you took a break or if you just started out playing warframe.
IMO, magnetic is now one of the best options for progenitor elements for Kuva and Tenet weapons. Previously, toxin or heat were generally the best, but being able to easily add on a status that makes eximus units much easier to take care of goes a lot farther than just "adding more damage". I have found that magnetic works better than toxin against Corpus as well, as while toxin bypasses shields, it does not bypass armor, which some Corpus units have. Of course, if you have a specific build in mind then it might not be best. I'm currently using a Kuva Quartakk with heat and turn it into blast, and it does really well, even for steel path.
my tenet cycron build does around 150 heat every second and basically instantly puts 10 radiation and viral on at the same time. status beam weapons go crazy.
MH, I stopped playing warframe for about 5 years (2019-2024) and so much changed that I felt overwhelmed. I just finished the new war and wanted to say that your videos have made my return rather pleasant. Sad to see some of my old creators not around but the player base is as healthy as ever which is nice, I feel like an OG
To be precise, The last 2% armor for full armor enemies is 54 which means ~15% dmg reduction. So using 2 normal shards give you additional ~14% dmg boost after full corrosion status applied.
We have missions with rooms filled with eximus. At least in belly of beast missions. I wouldn't say that magnetic is nieche due to the abundance of overshield enemies we currently have.
i dont know if its possible considering the limited mod slots and then also base elements combining into other elements like corrosive. but regaurdless it wont be a very good damage build generally because of being unable to narrow down on a specific damage type or base damage. plus certain factions are weak to certain elements so it isnt efficient anyways. hope this helps :)
Heat viral slash and radiation seem to be my go to universal build lately. Seems to shred the best against all factions. Still playing with blast but i don’t feel i’m getting amazing results with it. Could be a me problem though.
@@Faze_Obama53 not necessarily thanks to the new radiation mods(focus radon?). The setup works best with a base stat of heat or toxin though. Then you can just run toxin, cold, radiation. I’d have to go back and look at what weapons i’ve been able to effectively run it on and get back to you. Currently i’ve been playing around with Excal Umbra and my exalted blade is running. Viral, Heat, Rad and that seems to be giving me the best results of all the combinations. Viral electric and slash are also solid with melee when you add melee influence
Before the rework, Heat, Viral, and Slash were my go-tos. After the rework, they're still very useful, so I haven't changed up very many of my weapon loadouts.
@@ErikMikkelsen1 same here. Still trying to make some blast corrosive builds work but it still seems like i’m getting best general results from viral slash heat builds.
impact is not useles since it allows for mercy kills on eximuses giving you time for shield recharge during the animation, it stops dots like heat and electric from damaging you, quick way to instakill the eximus and trigger all the parazon mods which may include more power strenght, aoe blind, health/energy drops etc, sure dont build around impact but it is always nice to have, and there are mods that can convert impact status to slash :) i would always rather have some impact on a weapon than to have none
In addition to blast being good with grouping enemies, it is also very good on AOE/Chaining weapons, since the status effect is multiplicative with the amount of enemies affected. The same is true for electric and gas as well.
I have seen people talking smack on mhblacky but this guy was my first wf creator I watched, and i can't fault his content your the goat, there seems to be some spiteful players who view certain channels as bad?! keep on keeping on love from scotland.

Something I’ve been curious about but haven’t seen anyone talk about yet is the mod boreals contempt, and how it stacks with the new status damage mods
You forgot one special dmg type that only applies to Nukor. Microwave damage type. It only expand the limb you damage for 5 seconds, and it stays on the enemy until they die. It doesn't show up on the stat symbols when you damage an enemy though, but it does count towards condition overload and other mods that does extra damage by status types.
I like how he reused his intro from his first video on damage types xD Good call back Also I find it funny u use genshin to show other games eith less elements when genshin has Physical Geo Electro Pyro Hydro Dendro Cryo Superconduct Shatter Bloom Hyperbloom Burgeoning Freeze Melt Vape Burning Etc😂

I hope that the system will be adapted a little more in terms of the elements. I would love it if you could decide whether the elements can be used in combination or individually. okay i looked it up on wiki and it says that for example slash deals 35% of base damage over 6 second, so its like that, burn deals 50% and you need to look on wiki to see other.
FYI magnetic is bugged when it comes to the electric proc on shield/OG break. The dmg it deals are based on the weapon used, the % mentioned is currently not working.
12:23 annoyingly, the void damage from the amp is different than void damage from xata's whisper. this kind of synergy been purposely coded out is really annoying.
Since you recommended to skip a second emerald archon shard for the corrosive procs, does that mean full-strip isn't necessary even on max level enemies now with this rework?
like he said, the difference between 98% armor reduction and 100% armor reduction is not noticeable in game. full strip is great, but if you're going for the specific type of build he was discussing, then it's not really necessary and that archon slot is better used on something else.
I like to put the Elementalist mod on my Companions weapons since I usually use Companions to status prime the enemies I prioritise modding my companions weapons with Cold and Slash but I also try to get staus effects such as Gas, Radiation, and whatever I can get more of I usually use viral and heat on my weapons and recently been trying out magnetic wich feels quite strong especially against Corpus and Murmurs
Love the genshin start 😂❤ playing the gane since 3.3 , also spend more real money there. In this year was my first time using real money since 2018 to get the harrow operator suit ❤
Hopefully Blacky or another helpful Tenno sees my comment and can answer my question. Which of these things are most impactful in a loadout? By loadout I mean the whole spiel: Warframe, Primary Weapon, Secondary Weapon, Meele, Companion, Operator. What should my priority for acquiring those be? Which of these things will help me get the next significant boost in damage and survivability?
Bro focus on ur quests for now focus on primes and so on later, get inaros and do the sacrifice for the umbra mods, slap hem on inaros try and get an adaptation from trade chat for like 15-20 P and slap it on boom u won't die in two hits do all ur quests and gather mods like blind rage transient fortitude and so on before you try and get a fully loaded archon shard saryn prime nuking steel path XD
That's a tricky question to answer and i am just someone who have 1k hours so i will try my best, my goto for telling beginners is "Grab Rhino, Get Hek and Xoris, then start building for endgame" But that's not the answer you are looking for. First of all priority wise Frames>Weaps(Yes all 3)>Companion>Operator(i assume you are talking about amp and focus school) Their relationship feel like stacking deck of card to make a pyramid without the other it will fall apart, but here is the logic for my placements Good frames with bad weapon will get you overrun since you can't kill but you can compensate with some tanky frames like Revenant or Rhino to tank but eventually you will still get overrun. while "bad frames" with good weapon can go through some part of the game, their weakness will be apparent since you will start to struggle since your frames ability doesn't support you. I don't believe there is bad Frames for say more like too niche to be used or you use it in the wrong mission like Revenant might be immortal but those defense objective aren't or Nyx ability might be cool as hell then you realize isn't as useful in like 80% of the situation XD companion are impactful in what they do for example Carrier for those weapons that have ammo issue, Panzer Vulpa for those Viral, or Smeeta for those random buff. But as long as you have Vacuum/Fetch you can sideline them for a bit and focus on the other stuff first. Operator is a weird ones since you can just slap Zenurik for like 80% of the content and call it day. Then you have Madurai for Cascade and Eido. Amp and Operator Arcane will be more impactful when you finally reach Zariman to kill thraxes and void angels, while the amps you got from the questlines (Sirocco, not Mote) is decent enough it doesn't hold up to what you can make and WILL falloff at higher lvl. This is just my opinion tho, also i am talking about casual/new players not the Shield Gate lvl cap master that can literally go in mission with anything and it will work somehow. Still this is an opinion and feel free to question me about this.
Saryn with cedo (gas + blast) and the new elementalist mod + shivering contagion. the glaive procs cold. Build is difficult to explain but heavy strong 😂 then electric gas , raw heat works fine for higher lvl or toxin with green shards on the frame like chroma .Idk i have really no probs to make damage. Cold radiation is good too on verglas and blast Ocucor ist the shit now 😂
Level cap enemies having 90% damage reduction? That's ironic because around the time I got nekros prime (which was before the shield gate rework) my nekros prime could achieve 90% damage reduction with just 7 Shadows And I specifically built my nekros around gloom, damage reduction, health and energy sustainability It's almost like I knew this was going to happen months before it's release 🤔 (I even said this was going to happen before the shield gate rework came out to a friend and they didn't believe me) And to this day my gloom nekros build still hasn't changed ( not too much anyway) My gloom nekros (All mods and arcanes are maxed) Physique Power drift Umbral vitality Umbral intensify Umbral fiber Health conversion Energy Nexus Shield of shadows Despoil Primed flow Arcane guardian Arcane grace 2 tau forged crimson for ability strength 2 tau forged amber for casting speed 1 tau forged violet for equilibrium (The tau forged violet was really the only adjustment everything else was basically the same) Surprisingly my gloom nekros is really good for long endurance runs while doing it with melee and secondary only (So far I've been able to do heavy melee attacks for an hour and 42 minutes without firing a single shot and not dropping below 60% life support or dying even against every single acylote) Although to be fair I was using my reaper prime which can take an acylote out in 2-3 hits So those steel path enemies if they're not dealing with my inaros they will be dealing my gloom nekros
Wow wow wow im a reterning player and o my god, DE cooked, you cooked, and im loving it all, instant subscriber, Iflynn held my hand for the past 10 years and now im excited to see more ahh!
I would assume Magnetic is the new option because magnetic has a bonus against all corpus now, including health and robotics. If your weapon has magnetic innately like a Kuva weapon you could add viral for self explanatory reasons
Yes, because it works like the crit chance, 100% = yellow crit, 200% = orange crit etc. If you have 200% status chance, you can apply two instances of a status effect at once
It’s mainly based on what faction you’re fighting or the weapons stats. Since Phantasma is a status weapon you wanna focus on status damage, different status effects, and multishot. Once you unlock arcanes it further boosts the damage even though it’s just status effects
That's the cool thing, any damage type works on any gun 😉 Just note that weapons with low status chance are generally bad when you want to trigger many status effects 😉
So, since Impact is so mid, should weapons that focus on it be ignored? Frankly it's difficult for me to tell what weapons are worth keeping or investing resources into.
mods like Internal Bleeding can cause Impact damage to also deal Slash damage so i wouldn't say ignore them completely (just make sure you've mastered the weapon before selling it)
Depends on the weapon. Primary and secondary weapons have a mod that replace most of the impact statuses with bleed. Primary can also get an arcane that gives energy on an impact effect. Some impact-dominant weapons (mostly hammers) also have a gimmick to build around, if that's something you like. If you like getting buffs from mercy (parazon) finishers, that's the type that impact opens enemies up to. Beyond that, some later content incentivizes owning a variant of every weapon, so if you have the space, and you care about being that optimized, I'd keep the weapons, but maybe don't invest too much until you have resources to burn.
Not really. Weapons that deal mainly impact can still be good if you mod for either hunter adrenaline or the more efficient option of using elemental mods. There’s also other build options mentioned in this comment section that also talk about the potential of the weapons. It’s just about trying to understand what the weapon needs from your mods
Which Damage Type is your Favourite?
cold and blast or heat is pretty good
viral or corrosive of course
Heat + Viral. It works universally with everything.

true they should increase the levels

Could we get a run down on collecting and building archwing weapons?
I love your videos
Thank you so much
So early here bro it is like only 0:00am here 🥲
India? o.O
@@MHBlacky_ENG no VietNam :)
That IS a helpful vídeo.👏
Excellent.
max stack status viral 325% additive dmg not double xD
I don't think it's additive. Otherwise, we wouldn't even need to run damage arcanes or Serration, as long as we had Viral.
Tennocon in 10 days!
Whooooop :D
Started 3 days ago sorta understand now
Welcome to the game ❤️
Happy I could help 😉
Cold is underrated
@@MegaJo123456789 Just answer the question and not tell the person how to play the game lol
That's a tricky question to answer and i am just someone who have 1k hours so i will try my best, my goto for telling beginners is
"Grab Rhino, Get Hek and Xoris, then start building for endgame" But that's not the answer you are looking for.
First of all priority wise Frames>Weaps(Yes all 3)>Companion>Operator(i assume you are talking about amp and focus school)
Their relationship feel like stacking deck of card to make a pyramid without the other it will fall apart, but here is the logic for my placements
Good frames with bad weapon will get you overrun since you can't kill but you can compensate with some tanky frames like Revenant or Rhino to tank but eventually you will still get overrun.
while "bad frames" with good weapon can go through some part of the game, their weakness will be apparent since you will start to struggle since your frames ability doesn't support you. I don't believe there is bad Frames for say more like too niche to be used or you use it in the wrong mission like Revenant might be immortal but those defense objective aren't or Nyx ability might be cool as hell then you realize isn't as useful in like 80% of the situation XD
companion are impactful in what they do for example Carrier for those weapons that have ammo issue, Panzer Vulpa for those Viral, or Smeeta for those random buff.
Then there's also true damage
Edit: he does mention this. Wrote the comment too soon
Which I have mentioned 😉
@MHBlacky_ENG yeah ur right. You do mention it. Spoke too soon.
Fire
The vid or your favourite element? :P
Vid
Is there also a timer on the corrosive armor reduction, or does it stay reduced indefinitely?
There is a timer on corrosive status procs, though the Hydroid warframe with his plunder ability can make it permanent
Cold radiation is good too on verglas and blast Ocucor ist the shit now 😂
What about Archons? Did their damage resistances change and should I mod now for Toxin slash instead of Radiation?
Level cap enemies having 90% damage reduction?
That's ironic because around the time I got nekros prime (which was before the shield gate rework)
my nekros prime could achieve 90% damage reduction with just 7 Shadows
And I specifically built my nekros around gloom, damage reduction, health and energy sustainability
It's almost like I knew this was going to happen months before it's release 🤔
(I even said this was going to happen before the shield gate rework came out to a friend and they didn't believe me)
And to this day my gloom nekros build still hasn't changed ( not too much anyway)
My gloom nekros
(All mods and arcanes are maxed)
Physique
Power drift
Umbral vitality
Umbral intensify
Umbral fiber
Health conversion
Energy Nexus
Shield of shadows
Despoil
Primed flow
Arcane guardian
Arcane grace
2 tau forged crimson for ability strength
2 tau forged amber for casting speed
1 tau forged violet for equilibrium
(The tau forged violet was really the only adjustment everything else was basically the same)
Surprisingly my gloom nekros is really good for long endurance runs while doing it with melee and secondary only
(So far I've been able to do heavy melee attacks for an hour and 42 minutes without firing a single shot and not dropping below 60% life support or dying even against every single acylote)
Although to be fair I was using my reaper prime which can take an acylote out in 2-3 hits
So those steel path enemies if they're not dealing with my inaros they will be dealing my gloom nekros
Wow wow wow im a reterning player and o my god, DE cooked, you cooked, and im loving it all, instant subscriber, Iflynn held my hand for the past 10 years and now im excited to see more ahh!

Early Bird here, it seems :P
My guy started with genshin impact raiden showcase with xianyun😂
Girl Power! I don't see anything wrong here :P
never been so early
Nice one :D Sub 5 Minute Gang ^^
lmao those got me you are so right
Green shards section basically exactly the opposite of what it was.
Yep, exactly ^^
Is Radiation still used in the index after the Status rework, or are their other options for elements?
I would assume Magnetic is the new option because magnetic has a bonus against all corpus now, including health and robotics. If your weapon has magnetic innately like a Kuva weapon you could add viral for self explanatory reasons
Frost ist so geil 😍
Frost ist heftig. Keine Frage :O
Well well well
Since the amprex chains damage between enemies, would viral be good on the amprex?
Yes
Is there any reason that you should have more than a 100% Status on a weapon?
Yes, because it works like the crit chance, 100% = yellow crit, 200% = orange crit etc. If you have 200% status chance, you can apply two instances of a status effect at once
@@Marshall85BP OH! Thank you :)
i am a little late cuz i was busy aww
Haha no stress. We have time ;)
so.. how i know what weapon is good with what type of damage? like how i know if my phantasm is good with type of damage
It’s mainly based on what faction you’re fighting or the weapons stats. Since Phantasma is a status weapon you wanna focus on status damage, different status effects, and multishot. Once you unlock arcanes it further boosts the damage even though it’s just status effects
That's the cool thing, any damage type works on any gun 😉
Just note that weapons with low status chance are generally bad when you want to trigger many status effects 😉
I just finished the new war. But i dont like post war looks of one location : (
Cetus :(
So, since Impact is so mid, should weapons that focus on it be ignored?
It’s just about trying to understand what the weapon needs from your mods
genshin video soon? 👀
He have chanel for that
Check out GIBlacky. I might have something for you there :P
