Janakpur is not birthplace of Sita maa. Sita Maa's birthplace is actually not known, Janak jee found her in Sitamarhi, while he was ploughing the field. Janakpur is the place where Sita maa used to live. I have been to Janakpur it's very energetic place. Jay Maa Janaki! (I lived in Sitamarhi for 4-5 years and used to visit Janakpur several times, I am also from Mithila, so Sita maa is our Mithila's daughter, when I say Mithila it includes Bihar and Nepal, the main language of Janakpur is also Maithali).

Believe it or not people of Nepal are much more responsible people than majority of Indians, also crime against women is almost nil in Nepal, so I guess alcohol is widely available in Nepal, in India you know even without alcohol the situation esp for women is very bad, this is the truth I know many people will not agree with me.
