I love your detailed videos and the way you explain everything. Based on your explainations in other video, I can say I have high porosity 2b or 2c hair. I used Just Herbs Wheatgerm shampoo on my hair. I have noticed that on the day of shampoo, my hair feels smooth and silky. But the next day, I feel that my hair loses all smoothness and becomes dry again.
I have used just herbs java kusum oil too. The oil is light and I love the fragrance. Whenever my hair seems dry, I use this oil.
My trail pack of just herbs is about to finish but I am still confused if I should continue using the same shampoo n oil or should I try something else?

And about Vilvah serum, i have the spray one and it keeps on spilling when i travel :( but i have 80% of it left so can't buy new. Maybe next time pump packaging will help

Ok so coming to the video here are my comments:
1. I love the requil babbasu conditioner as well. It has incredible slip. In fact I used it today to wet detangle. My sister has straight hair and also loves using it!
2. I honestly could not make the I create Hold gel by innersense work on my hair. I've realised after trying so many hard hold gels in the Indian and international market that my hair cannot tolerate hard hold gels (I get flash drying, stringy waves, weighed down feeling, no bounce and dryness - to name a few problems). It may be a great gel but I used half the bottle trying to make it work and all the wash days were terrible to average.
3. Your hair can take so many styling products! 😅 I would have major problems if I used your styling combos! I can only take 1-2 products after wash. Leave-in and a light hold gel or foam. That's it! If I'm using a curl cream it has to be very light and only can be combined with a light foam.
4. I have been wanting to try the Curlsmith Weightless Air dry Cream for the LONGEST time! It's super expensive for me but I feel it'll really suit me so when I need to buy a new leave-in conditioner I'll see if its still available in NYNM.
5. Lately I've been loving using just leave-in conditioners on my waves. It's enough. Currently loving the sugarboo leave-in for summers! I still like the northwish custard but I have been enjoying foams more and even the Ashba gel that I picked up recently.
Sorry for such a large comment I had so many thoughts while watching this. I do like the manetain conditioner as both a conditioner and curl cream so do give it a try sometime Michelle :)
Hi Nimisha. Yes exactly. If you remember I did tell you in the comment section of my low porosity video/video styling gaboos low porosity hair, that you definitely have low porosity hair and to stick to leave in + mousse.
Layering won't for you.
You need to stay away from protein, coconut, aloe and all other ingredients that cause flash drying. Also you NEED to focus on styling. Don't jump from product to product yet. You don't need the curlsmith weightless airdry cream on your hair. My best advice for you is to experiment with styling routines and focus on constructing your curl clumps more. With a little more practice your results will be much much better. I'm saying this because I've seen your hair and do believe that it has not reached its potential yet. So many amazing things to come. Please keep experimenting.

Also I get confused regarding the products ( since various brands are available) to use and also what all steps are really necessary ( like leave in conditioner, hair cream, hair gel ) since I am a beginner CGM user and get overwhelmed.
I follow all the steps ( shampoo, hair mask, conditioner, then leave in conditioner on the wash day and in between hair serum and leave in conditioner) and I can see my curls getting better, but my hair is very dry and lose shine 2 days after wash.... really want you to suggest hair cream or serum for dry hair specifically.
Too many steps means too many products, sometimes I get worried that they might damage my hair further.

Michelle! This needs major attention. I ordered and used the new Arata cream, just like how I would use the old Arata cream, which I've loved in the past, used to make my hair feel like seaweed. Buuuut, this new one, ohmygod what has happened to the cream. It feels not moisturizing. The bottle seems smaller. The hold is terrible. I tried the leave in conditioner as well, felt too lightweight. Idk if I'm doing something wrong or has Arata era endedddddd. Please do a review, we need to know, I need to know!
I've done a detailed review on the product also done a comparison video on both ranges. The video is called protein moisture balance with the arata combos. Would ask you to have a look.
Nothing happened to the cream. It's an entirely different formula. Brands have to cater to all communities. People who need light moisture products and people who need heavy moisture products. People who need light protein products and heavy protein products. Otherwise you'll have a large chunk of people whose textured needs are overlooked.

Hello Michelle, recently I used diffuser and my hair became dryer than my regular hair. So I am not comfortable in using diffuser as mostly says diffuser does helps in styling curly hair but it somehow ruined mine.
Let me know what are you thoughts.
Watch my video on how to diffuse wavy and curly hair. Follow the tips mentioned. I think you will be happy with the results.
Once you learn how to use a diffuser properly, you will be very happy with the results. So hang in there. Chin up! It gets better.

The olive and macademia shampoo was very very gentle. will suit people with a dry scalp. People with an oily scalp will need something more cleansing. The plum avocado and argan shampoo is nice. Little more cleansing . Another one i enjoy during winter is their dandruff control shampoo. During winter i use their dandruff range frequently. Their scalp serum works very well for me when i need to calm an itchy flaking scalp.

I ordered sugarboo curl cream and conditioner as their website had buy one get one offer and I wanted to try these new products. I experienced hairfall with conditioner and also my hair has not felt soft since I have started using these two products. I don't know what is the issue. Even I experimented with the quantity. I have to wash my hair every third day as they become very dry and dirty.

Thanks for sharing your honest experience. I had a similar experience with a different product once. It was very upsetting. Stop use immediately.
Also just a note, going forward, watch out for ingredients such as vitamin E, Menthol & Spearmint. In your case they might be the potential irritants in the products causing you to have an allergic reaction.

A conditioner won't tame frizz. You'll need a mousse or gel to tame frizz

What's is your scalp type? Do you use a prepoo oil? Or do you like gentle shampoos more?
@@MichelleManuel Mine is Dry scalp and I will just use coconut oil and sometimes coconut onion oil.
If you use coconut oil you might need a cleansing shampoo. Try either the true frog or the Northwish shampoo. On a budget you can also try the qurez shampoo bars. The yellow one for curly hair is very inexpensive. It's the best shampoo bar I've tried so far.

You can try dry scalp massaging. You won't need any product. Just follow the techniques I showed in my video.
If you have harituki, rub it on your scalp as a pre-poo.

Just herbs hair mask i bought because you said it so many times !! That works great for me too that gives me good slip too thanks ❤but i am still struggling with which style combo works better for me how to find that out !!! Should I have to buy multiple products to check that?
Not just this Hair mask , but curl up cream , enliven mouse, grapeseed oil, jamican castor oil this worked great for me!!?till washing and dc i am a bit sorted out but styling with which things are still challanging for me
The just herbs mask is amazing for high porosity hair when it comes to the question of deep conditioning. But when you talk about slip, the true frog and curl up masks are next level (for me). But to deeply moisturise high porosity hair, the JH mask wins hands down. I'm really glad you liked the products!
Are you a high porosity person? If so, try the curl up cream with the true frog gel. I think you might like the results. If you want more hold, add a mousse. You can also try the true frog leave in with the true frog gel. The only issue with this combo is, volume will be a little less.

Don't try any styling routine right now. No oils either. Rectify the dandruff issue and then resume using oils and butters. For now i would suggest no leave in products or stylers.

Can I use the yellow re'equil conditioner for low porosity hair?
It's a thick and heavy conditioner. If you have tight curls and need extra moisturization then yes. If not skip it.
@@MichelleManueli definitely do not have wavy hair, but yes even without cgm my curls do have a hold at times, is that what tight curls mean?
Tight curls meaning 3b and above.

Have you noticed any anti brassing happening with the arata colour cure shampoo? Does it work in that way
Yes it definitely does. I don't know if you can see it on camera, but in person you can clearly see that the brassiness gets cancelled out. Doesn't make the colour look old and stale.
The conditioner needs more slip and so I don't pick it up as much. You can skip it.
I only use the shampoo and leave-in. They're enough to get the job done.

You'll see a difference in the first use.
The leave in is very very very light. I use it as a primer.
Styling lineup:
primer, then curl cream, then gel.
Didn't use the leave in as a stand alone product. I've definitely shown this routine somewhere on my channel. Not sure which video though. A short perhaps?

Definitely visit a doctor. Some people experience premature greying due to genetic predispositions and underlying medical reasons. See an endocrinologist.
You'll need to do some tests to rule out these factors. I also did a video with an endocrinologist who broke things down in detail.
For hairfall & hair loss you could see a trichologist.
First get these problems sorted and then start cg. Not before.

hey michelle help me out, I have started using aarata gel and hair cream. The day 1 is satisfying but after that my hair become extremely oily and even the day 2 not look fresh. what possible mistake is done by me??
Ok. So i think you might be using too much of the product or you have low porosity hair. Low porosity hair tends to get very greasy after a day or two. Could you tell me which arata cream and gel. The ones from the old range or the new range?

Ahh okay. You mean the green tub. In my opinion the green tub is more of a complimentary product. It's not a leave in. This would suit people who need extra moisture.
In that case the product line up would be leave-in then the cream and then a gel.
In your case, your hair probably needs something super light. A level 1 or 2 product. If you have low porosity hair, the hair will tend to get greasy in a day or two if you use heavier creams.

Also for last 4 5 months, i am having severe hair fall, also consulted doctor, they gave some serum and omega and vitamins tablets, it's one month now i am taking medicine but I am not seeing any reduction in hair fall..please help me with some solution..
Everytime I see my 1 year old picture with high density hair and nice curl texture..i just cry...now its almost half of the density that i used to have , also hair now looking more on wave or straight + and also facing grey hair issues ..I am compelled to use hair color even though i know that it's not CG approved.
Seems I am facing all hair problems at the same time and I have no clue which problem i should address, hair fall, loosing curl pattern, grey hair 🙃 😓

I'm really sorry to hear about your hair loss. I completely understand how devastating it can be.
A lot of things contribute to hairloss and greying. Mostly health conditions and hormones. Your best bet here is to follow your docs orders and be patient. It takes lots of time to see regrowth, but i think it will be worth it. You will see a difference in 6 months time. I'm so happy you sought medical intervention early. Most people don't.
Listen, just hang in there. Be careful with the cg routine. Be careful with detangling. If you're not good with detangling, quit cg for a bit. Let your density improve. Revisit cg once you're more comfortable.

So last I remember, love beauty planet had changed their formulas. They included silicones in their range
If you remember I used to use the LBP shampoo to clarify. Had to stop because of the silicones.
Anyway, I'll check out this range. If it's silicone free, i will definitely try it.

It's been 3 weeks i started my CGM. I have wavy hairs , after wash m not getting define curls and volume . I air dry my hair don't have diffuser. I used fix my curl hair butter and gel
I felt that hair butter is making my hair oily

You really don't need a diffuser to achieve good results. I used to only airdry when I was recovering from heat damage. My results were still lovely.

Hey there..i have used curl up hair cream and just made my hair more dry and frizzy..i have done smoothening twice and colored hair once i guess no sulphtes/parabens doesnt suit me
You know what, I have seen a few people complain about the curl up curl defining cream. Saying it's too heavy or causes flakes. If you're not already, pair the product with a gel or mousse. If you have high porosity hair, dryness after a couple of days is normal. Because high porosity hair will not be able to retain moisture.
Maybe the product just doesn't suit some people. This does happen. It's very possible for you to dislike a product that I personally love. Especially when it comes to stylers.

I love your detailed videos and the way you explain everything. Based on your explainations in other video, I can say I have high porosity 2b or 2c hair. I used Just Herbs Wheatgerm shampoo on my hair. I have noticed that on the day of shampoo, my hair feels smooth and silky. But the next day, I feel that my hair loses all smoothness and becomes dry again.
I have used just herbs java kusum oil too. The oil is light and I love the fragrance. Whenever my hair seems dry, I use this oil.
My trail pack of just herbs is about to finish but I am still confused if I should continue using the same shampoo n oil or should I try something else?
