Wash it when you need to..I've also been washing my hair on day 4/5 ish. It's too hot right now. I'll recommend the just herbs shankpushpi/shirolepam hair mask for your scalp. It's available on Amazon for Rs 299 right now. May be too heavy your hair lengths. Only use it on the scalp. Or you can prepoo with an oil too if you prefer it. Itchy because it's dry? Or itchy because of an infection?

I had spoken to my derm about this. Dry scalp is dry and flaky. Dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis & other fungal infection are wet sticky cells. So maybe try to figure out if it's dry & flaky or wet & flaky. The wet flakes are also bigger in comparison to dry flaking skin.

I didn't cut them precisely or have any method to the madness. I just hacked away at my face framing sections. With wavy and curly hair that is styled regularly, you don't have to take a layered approach. Just style your hair. See how it lays. Decide on a length and cut the clump. That's it.

I could be mistaken but these are my thoughts. Are you sure I recommended the Arata curl cream to you directly? If I remember correctly you mentioned you had high porosity hair & that you enjoyed heavy products. Then my recommendation would have been the curl up curl defining cream with the sugarboo mask for your protein washdays. Both put together would give you enough protein. You had commented under my products for high porosity hair video, so I assume you made a note of these recommendations. They were mentioned there. The arata curl cream is a level 2 ish. It will be too light for you. It worked very well for me when it came to definition. It continues to give me the best definition possible. The only issue I had (on my previous high porosity hair) was moisture retention in the long run. Also updated this info in my very first product favs video. A good way to check if the brand is cheating you on the amount is to measure the product on a food weighing machine. Arata deliberately uses bigger containers to avoid spilling while shipping. They had mentioned this in one of my reels recently (hair growth serum reel). Either way, I can't be sure if the amount mentioned is correct. I've never weighed them myself. Next time I open a new container I will check. When I shot my protein product videos, lots of my newer recommendations were not launched yet. You'll see that I keep updating my content. The new true frog curl cream is a protein product. But again, it may be too light for you. So for you, I would suggest the sugarboo mask and the curl up leave in, in conjunction. Even though the curl up leave in is not purely a protein product, with the sugarboo mask, you'll get a good dose of protein. It should be sufficient for you. Haven't tried the FMC hair masks. They're too expensive. Won't make sense for me to make such a big investment for a video. I have a trial size of the hair masks. I'll be posting a first impressions soon. Are the minimalist products cg friendly? Not sure. I was interested in their sun protection serum, but I think I saw that they contain silicones. Hope this helps.

@@MichelleManuel yes I need heavier products. Thought of using the arata protein curl cream only from the pov of fulfilling protein requirement. So I thought of either using another heavier moisture leave in with it OR the re'equil hair mask since it's heavy dc and with protein too. I did note that you mentioned the curl up cream but that's the only other option for a protein leave in that i could find in your content. I could be mistaken here sometimes I get confused with all the videos and products. So upon checking the ingredients list on the curl up cream. The proteins were mentioned last and that too not many. Hence I thought maybe it's not a very heavily protein focused product. And that's why I asked

@Divya_B Yes. You're absolutely right. That's why I'm saying to use it with the sugarboo protein mask. Haven't found a heavy purely protein leave in product yet. :( Ashba botanics also said for us not to consider hydrolyzed corn to be a protein. So the new ashba moisture cream is out the window too. We're back to having no heavy protein leave in or curly cream. :(

I micro-plopped. Then I plopped my hair for 30 mins. Then I diffused my hair for 15 mins. Root clipped and then let it air dry. Basically I did what I usually do. 😂

Yes it definitely does. I don't know if you can see it on camera, but in person you can clearly see that the brassiness gets cancelled out. Doesn't make the colour look old and stale. The conditioner needs more slip and so I don't pick it up as much. You can skip it. I only use the shampoo and leave-in. They're enough to get the job done.

@@MichelleManuel how long and how many uses has it taken you to see the effect on the brassiness ? Also the leave in is it heavy and nicely moisturizing. I need solid moisture

You'll see a difference in the first use. The leave in is very very very light. I use it as a primer. Styling lineup: primer, then curl cream, then gel.

Didn't use the leave in as a stand alone product. I've definitely shown this routine somewhere on my channel. Not sure which video though. A short perhaps?

You could* watch my detailed long form video for low porosity hair to understand my complete and comprehensive take on low porosity hair. This short is just a reply to a comment left on that video. The person who left the comment has a very specific issue (which may not apply to you). After all, one mustn't put low porosity hair into one box. Within this porosity type there can be varying needs. For example let's consider -Person A has 2a fine low porosity -PersonnB has 3c coarse low porosity hair I wouldn't make the exact same recommendations to both of them. Their needs would differ from each other.

We consider a product to be a protein product, when it has protein in the top 5 ingredients. (Which is not an issue with the super shampoo) Secondly, when doing a protein washday, we consider protein in 2 product categories, leave in/curl cream & hair mask/conditioner. If the hair requires more than that then we opt for a protein gel. One need not worry about short contact, rinse-off products like shampoos. One need not worry if the protein ingredient is listed way down below on the list.

I get it. Brush coiling looks easy but it takes skill and good technique. Back in 2020, I tried coiling with a Denman brush. It was my first attempt. My hair wasn't fully wet. It was barely damp. I definitely did it wrong. My hair got stuck in the brush. I was so panicked. 😂 I'll never forget the experience. 😂😂

If you use a hard hold gel the curls will last longer. If you do a refresh the curls will last longer. I referred to these issues and a playlist that tackles them towards the end of the video. Please don't be embarrassed. It happens. Everyone gets lice at some point. Use mediker anti-lice shampoo. Wash your hair frequently. And get yourself one of those lice combs. You'll need to keep repeating this shampoo. Because the shampoo will kill the lice but the nits will keep hatching. So wash your hair frequently. Remove nits with the comb. Repeat this cycle. Don't use any oil please. I'll also caution you to disinfect your sheets, pillowcases and everything else that comes in contact. If it's a huge issue and you're not being able to control it, get pest control done in your house once. If your peers have lice as well, it's easy for the issue to reoccur. If possible try to get through them with empathy and kindness. Inform them of the issue and ask them also to take action gently. ❤️🌷❤️🌷
