The game begins in an asylum on the Sprawl, a densely populated space station surrounding a shard of Titan, one of Saturn's moons. Isaac Clarke awakens with no memory of the past 3 years since Aegis VII, having just been awoken by Franco Delille (protagonist of Dead Space Ignition), who is attempting to free him. The already-ongoing Necromorph outbreak claims Franco's life, leaving Isaac to escape on his own.
We found Dead Space 2 to be even better than the first. There's a lot more action, but it doesn't compromise on it's creepy atmosphere and intriguing story. As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience. Hope you enjoy!

@@theilliad4298 I don't know, I kinda like it. It adds to the horror and Dead Space is one of those stories where just about anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
I honestly think the reason you can't save people adds to the horror aspect of the game. It puts a feeling of helplessness in the player.
It also hammers home what could happen to you or the ones you care about should you fail.
That ending scene was a brilliant callback to the ending of the original dead space

It's probably the fact that a lot of medical equipment ends up inside a person, or cutting a person open.

6:42 I love Isaac's reaction here. It's so genuine and human. He instantly starts begging. "C'mon man..." is not an expression he normally uses throughout the rest of the game. Also, props to the voice actor, this game wouldn't be the same without him.
Damn, for a 10 year old game, this game still looks amazing graphic wise.
And a remake is coming in january.

That's gotta be one of the best voice acting bits I've ever heard.
That subtle taste of grief, despair and even a hint of denial in his voice makes it sound like he's actually legitimately furious as opposed to your typical "loud = angry" tone of voice most voice actors go for.
Gunner Wright's entire performance was top notch but this one little bit really sells it.
And then it's immediately overshadowed by the "tv static nicole" 🤣

In fact playing DS1 (or watching a game movie) makes Ch. 10 more enjoyable...
The dialogue from Clark makes it a lot more real and fun

I played this game 17 times and have beaten hardcore only once. Seriously this game was hard as hell. U need to use every blade u find from necromorphs or pipes to kill them, and every single bullet mattered. The first weapon, the plasma cutter, is to this day my all time favorite weapon. I would have lost if it wasnt for it

Yea its such an epic scene, especially when the monster got to ship the music was just perfect, the thing that ruined it was isaac’s grunt and how the player kept shooting at the monster instead of the gas tanks
Loved the video as always but I've never seen anyone play this game with such consistently low health and such bad aim. Kind of added a comic element to the whole thing which kinda worked.

Played Dead Space when I was 12 my mom bought it for me from Costco for 20 dollars I had no idea what I got myself into lol gave me nightmares for weeks one of the few games that really deserved that M rating. Still a 10/10 game series.

If you lot have watched dead space aftermath it explains dead space 2 and why he has been asleep for three years, which explains DS2 so well in a way. Franco is linked in this very well, but his death is already part of his fate/future.

For one, custom weapons, best looking armour (I am not giving the Engineering Rig the win because it's the first!), and finally better upgrades!

Not to mention, amoung the slasher horde, you see a more different one, with multiple red eyes and looking more alien than the rest. Instead of running to kill you, it just slowly walks to them, and seems to lead them.

So much better that he actually talks in this game. Never understand why in any video game, the main player you play with doesn’t speak. I read that some people thought this cause Issac to lose some mystery to him but that’s bs. All this crazy, scary s*** going on around him, you would think any person would speak his/her mind. Also, people are TALKING TO HIM. That just looks stupid when you have other characters yelling and asking Issac to do stuff and he says nothing. I love this side of Issac Clarke. In this game, because of the fact he talked, you can tell how he was so pissed off dealing with this stuff.

Good correlation at the beginning with the "make us whole" , that was repeated alot in DS1.
Also, DeadSpace Extraction is a pretty intriguing story to which explains the story that correlates with DS1 etc.

The Plasma Cutter is the first weapon you should max out and next is the assault rifle, never let go of the Plasma Cutter or you can skip the assault rifle and upgrade your rig first BUT plasma cutter first!

when entering the Ishimura in DS2 Isaac enters from the right side of the ship entering the shuttle landing bay exactly from where they landed in DS1. But the thing is they crash landed inside the Ishimura when they was about to dock with it from THE FRONT of the ship. And when Issac enters it the door to the bay in DS2 is on his left. which means they flipped the ship because the doors should be on his right. he would actually enter the Ishimura from the shuttle bay where he drags the Red Marker in DS1. Anyone see the problem here?
