I was given this book by my 5th grade teacher Mrs. Gates when we moved cities. I read it so many times. Thank you for posting the short film about it, brings back a lot of good memories.
Not done watching yet... Poor kid. His grandma is complaining the whole time then had nothing but scary gossip and crazy superstition to talk about. On top of that he was fearing for his life. That grandma is something else.

Grandmother or not, once she suggested to leave my dog behind I would knock her overboard, get my dog back on board and move on.
