Took The Dubliners for granted growing up, never really thought about how special they were. I know it now!
I lived in Dublin for most of the 70’s. I was studying there. I left in 78 to get married. I still miss her.
Ronnie and all the rest of the original Dublin's so sadly missed
This man and his band were a true legend sadly missed
Amen
Miss you so much Ronnie!
This will be a personal favorite of mine for the rest of my life. Thank you, Ronnie Drew.
The rare auld times is the most emotional thing I've ever heard!
I've never been to Dublin but I've always been a big fan of the Dunliners. This film touched me.

I came from St.louis, a neighborhood called dogtown, made by the Irish Americans there. It is interesting to watch this and see the similarities in architecture of dublin and dogtown.
This year 2020 i was planning to go with a friend in Dublin and visit the Irish countryside. Well, things didn't go as planned, and this video is what i needed!
Love ya all!
I love how much this video reminds me of Dublin.
Grazie di cuore! Documento meraviglioso, fantastico, bellissimo! Tanks a Lot!!!!!! I love Dubliners!
This was filmed in 1988 & me & brother visited in June 1990..Now alas we spent a little too mucho time in the Boozer's,sure we were gripped by the Drink! So are Tourist& Historical tours were somewhat restrained!
I recorded it on video when it was first shown on RTE, I still have it., brill, a little bit of Ireland.
That was going back sometime! Filmed in 1988 to mark the Dublin Millennium. The pub scenes were recorded in O'Donoghues pub on Good Friday. In those days it was against the law for any pubs on open on a Good Friday. Obviously an exception was made for The Dubliners. Beau Bridges the american actor was there that day although I don't think he appears in any of the footage.
O'Donoghue's was probably a second home for The Dubliners. I converted it to a DVD about 15 years ago., and I also recorded The Late Late Show, 25th Anniversary, when it was shown on RTE, I put them on every so often.
Yes - I hope that all of the "troubles" in Ireland have come to an end. Good music!
