Everytime I see this it makes me cry, because of her hair she lost her mother everyone tried to kill her the only one that stayed with was blind and in order to save him she had destroy her hair no matter what he still loved her he saw beauty in her.... I love it..
He was not blind since he turned into stone. Medusa just chose not to look him into his eyes or get to close until the very end.
When she cut her hair she turned to stone, so she died
@@moonytoon1979 he was blind, didn’t you see he had no pupils, and he could look into her eyes just fine, maybe he wasn’t fully blind because he could see a bit but he couldn’t see well enough to be turned to stone. Although when he lost his bandage on his forehead he all of a sudden had pupils and could see

I cried the first time I watched it.... Still cried again today.... The snakes were trying to protect her but she was good to know she doesn't want any more blood shed.... The part that's broke my heart was when the solider died for her and in his last breath he kissed her.... Best scene ever.... I will never ever forget this story

If you want to be friends with her, its best that you're more than happy and ready to take the risk of her accidentally turning u into stone. Cos that'd be true friendship.

Legit Medusa found the love of her life after all those years, the world was damn cruel to her just because she had a power they didn't understand. Things could have turned out better if everyone wasn't so damn judgmental. Also I love the romance. The soldier legit fell in love after just meeting her. Like damn... I say damn a lot lol. Hi.

This prequel was great! But I truly do feel bad for Medusa. Her story as well as herself is sooo misunderstood. As a kid growing up I've always been such a BIG FAN of greek mythology and uve always been fascinated by her story! Everyone sees her as this ugly, terrifying, heartless creature but all I could do was sympathize and understand her. All she's ever wanted was love and affection from someone and people are scared because they think she's purposely killing people: when in reality its completely out of her control. One thing that's always made me upset about her story is that she was turned into a snake because she was beautiful, and Athena and Minerva were jealous of her. Although it's not like that in this sequel both versions are sad and upsetting because an innocent person is now supposed be left alone for all of eternity, either to accidentally kill people or be in complete isolation. 💔

Imagine your in the middle of no where and there is this statue of a man and a lady doing their things.
I think my eyes are sweating 😭 hold up that's was so beautiful and you put yiruma's river flows into you with it made it even sadder. Ngl them soldiers had it coming ain't no one told em to go looking for her.
This had me crying. Once again, your work is beautiful :) It was sad she had to cut off the snakes in order to be with her love (and plus she realised they were dangerous), but her and her love died together anyway. The way they were frozen together in the end is really beautiful.
Why do I feel like the cutting of the snakes could be symbolic somehow? Sometimes people can genuinely love us and want to protect us but be dangerous and toxic and in order to have a healthy love, we have to cut them off so the healthy love can flourish. Sadly in these guys' case, they were too late but at least they get to be together someplace else ♡

I have always adored Medusa, her history is so painful, she always held an affinity within me.
This piece shows a new aspect, a new possibility to her beginnings. It is simply astounding.

Ciertamente que es una historia preciosa. Vi el primer corto de Medusa hace años y me llegó a lo más profundo del corazón. Hoy al querer verla de nuevo me encuentro con esta preciosa segunda parte.

So was the soldier blind? How was he blinded? I missed that. I just wish this was a real animated movie. Every scene is so well thought out. Interesting take on Medusa's story. Very original and deeply moving at the same time. I love Romeo and Juliet type of stories.

Hi ...oh seems like did recover from the explosion ... Same as like firing up a match to close to your eye ...of course the explosion would cause more damage I believe he did took some hours to get it back...the shot he received have trigered all his senses in order to survive he got it back and as soon asbhe did he started to turn just like her as soon as she rided herself from the hair dhe started to turn....wow this is just a masterpiece ...this beautiful, and true work of art I love this story I would like to show this to my littleones.

River Flows in You is such an emotional and beautiful piece. And when you combine it with this heart wrenching story, sheer beauty. Every time I hear this song, I think of these two giving it all for each other. "No greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Of course she's been through some pretty tough times.
But I hope she doesn't cut the snakes.
They were just trying to protect her.
It's too cruel to cut them off.
Couldn't there be a way for them all to live happily ever after?

All in all, although it’s sad, it was a fitting end for her because considering she was born 300 BC, she’s had to endure the loneliness and pain for over 2000 years, at least she can have peace now and be with her mother and her soldier (as well as all her snakes/hair).

I think Todd Lorenzo fits the soldier perfectly.
Some minor inaccuracies in this video: World War 2 was from 1939 to 1945. The enemy soldiers in gray uniforms should be shown with a swastika while their helmets do not bear the star symbol. Since Nazis are the ones who wear this color of military attire these should be the details.
As for the animation and most of all the story, this is by far one of the most bitter sweet yet beautiful endings. I've lost count watching this.
There were only two people who loved Medusa unconditionally- her mother who was with her at the beginning of her life and the American soldier who became her first love in her final moments.
It's because the soldiers in gray uniforms are Russian and wear the star of the Soviet Union on their helmets.
It would be a covert mission where the Americans and the Russians were looking for jellyfish
I think the same is a beautiful and incredible story.
I thought that this was the Greek Civil War ( 1946-1949)

Во многом, какими мы были во времена Античности, такими и остались сейчас. - Подверженными влиянию страха и против негативных эмоций, идя на поводу у которых в качестве лучшего способа защиты мы видим уничтожение всех, кого считаем странными, а значит потенциально опасными; ну и плюс в разрушении, в овладении мы видим проявление собственной власти, а власть пьянит и ослепляет.
Однако к счастью нами движе не только это, кто-то из нас способен и на искренние положительные чувства.
И к счастью Медуза смогла встретиться с этим.
Ну и кстати теперь понятно, почему эта история Медузы стала альтернативной. - Для такого вот продолжения.
Ну что же, очень хорошая деконструкция получилась.
И главное - очень эмоциональная и пробивающая.
