I am so happy to find your videos! This is another one of my favorites...though a Holly composition, J & P really give it through own style. In any other songs you do, I encourage your additional commentary and insight! In this number, as you say, John is clearly in a baritone range, and the melodies are so close (thirds almost always), that it does have that great sonic "buzz"-like timbre quality! I am just happy you are doing these...

Hi I love your videos and have used them to have fun and make my own multi track recordings. Thank you. I have always had trouble singing this Beatles song though. Is there not a three part harmony in the Beatles recording? I’m sure I can hear a vocal that is higher than than Paul’s part in your video. Am I hearing it wrong?

Buen día maestro, look for a video of paul mccartney playing this song alone, he does the second voice (the low voice), i though that lennon does the high voice. Sorry by my english, actually i speak spanish.

when i listen to the beatles sing it i hear john's distinct voice but i dont hear him singing the low part. i hear maybe ringo singing even lower. can someone clear this up.
It's John on the lower And Paul in the highest.
Low melodies are harder to hear and identify. That's why you can hardly distinguish what John sings when he sings very low, especially if he is singing in harmony with a higher voice. But of course mixing can influence that too.

Fun fact George sings the high part not Paul however it sounds a fuck of a lot like Paul.
If you listen to the isolated track….it sounds a lot like Paul….because it definitely is Paul
George sounded nothing like that 🙂
@@nickholland6537 Yea, I always thought it sounded like Paul. Later on, I read all 3 sang, hard to determine which is which, in this case, between George and Paul (possibly the two in unison), but George can sing like that.
