At the end chord Paul plays a D chord on guitar, and the Brass section plays a C chord. . Hence a C in the D chord changes it to a D 7 chord ! A Beatle fact..!!

Man I love your enthusiasm but this is inaccurate. We did this with Ably House. This was a song recorded on a 2 track. They had no ability to overdub another guitar. And they would not have taken the chance of “erasing” a part on the 2 track. That would be impossible. Read the session notes. They’re very detailed

THE NIGHT BEFORE should have been released as a single - this would have 100 percent gone to NUMBER ONE - it is one of the Beatles unsung all time gems - great great recording, arrangement, performances - when Paul finally played it in concert it came across utterly brilliant - a great concert song - should be on the Red Album - so should SHE'S A WOMAN and IF I FELL - and on the Blue Album should have included I WILL, HAPPINESS IS A WARM GUN and SEXY SADIE instead of Glass Onion
