She did well, however, I would definitely go on Google maps, yelp, and other places to leave a review because they will continue doing the same thing to other clients unless held accountable. I had this happen to me when I first got my gel nails. The nails started falling off after 2 days, they didn't even look good. I tried to file them into a normal shape. When they fell off, the pain was horrible. I didn't know at that time what was done ans how badly my nails were damaged...
Warn other potential nail victims 😭
My nail technician, even after many years of providing her services to me, never stopped asking me literally every minute while using e-file "is it burning" "does it hurt?? I told her many times that whenever I feel pain I will simply tell her but she just couldn't help herself. Now she is developing a career in podiatry and I'm doing my nails by myself. I learned how to do it just by observing her absolute professionalism and great techniques.
I’m so glad she stopped the service. Personally I tell all my clients to let me ‘now if “anything feels uncomfortable”. She is a Class Act.
I’ve had overfiling happen to me. I politely made it clear that she was hurting me, that I wanted the service stopped and I would like to speak to her manager. Upon the manager coming, I showed her my fingernails, explaining what I felt and could now see. I did not want to pay for such a service. The manager agreed. It took me months to grow this out, it was incredibly painful and I never went back to this salon.
I always thought having pain was normal going to the nail tech. And when they took my nails off they were always damaged. Since I've been watching and learning from you that never happens to me and my nails always look healthy now. Thank you Anastasia 💚💜🌹❤️. I also think the lady made the right decision too. Enjoy your day everyone 💕! Leah from California 🌴😘👋.
A nail person made me n my friends bleed multiple time 😭
I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves the smell of monomer 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And your client did the right thing by not completing the full service with that salon.
Your nails are always so beautiful & well executed. 👌❤️
I feel her pain... it is one reason I started to do my own nails. Thankfully, I've always been someone who loves to DIM (Do It Myself). So It wasn't hard to learn.
I appreciate the good nail techs because those of you who post your work & information online, it helps myself & others who either do it ourselves or in school still learning. I'm glad you were able to help this client out so she can have beautiful nails 💚
I think that your client handled the situation much better than most should have. I’m also so happy you used acrylic - the heat spike would have been positively evil around the cuticle if you used another product. The nails are beautiful 😻
I always ask my clients, especially new ones..."Do you have any issues, concerns I need to be aware of or address. Do you have any questions for me?"
Just always worked for me. Give the client a chance to talk, and helps me know if there's anything going on with them. Let's them know I'm listening, and I get a heads up.
I think she handled it correctly. Kudos to her.
The shaping on these almond shape extensions is just incredible. I love how deep the ‘c’-curve is. I don’t use acrylic, but I definitely need to practice shaping for my sculpted hard gel nails.
Anastasia, please bring back longer videos if possible 😣 these feel like they go by way too fast. Plus I love longer videos 💜
Ouch. That looked super painful. Glad I do my own nails. I would have left also. I have felt that pain before as a beginner doing my own nails. I loved the finish design.
Such a beautiful design! I'm starting nail school in a couple of days and it's my worst fear that I will hurt someone, I'm so scared of it that my current mentor tells me that I under-file instead of over-file. Watching these videos helps me because it's much clearer what over-filed nails look like.
I have been in that situation, your client did the right thing.
Your thoughts to not to use an electric file on her natural nail was the right thing, the whole process was amazing, my nail technician did the same and she saved my nails. She did the same process everytime until the nail was fully grown and the damaged gone.
I LOVE the smell of monomer! My brain just relaxes, because it's a smell I associate with relaxation. Having my nails done is a time I can completely relax.
As a matter of practice I use clear (whether gel or acrylic) so I can physically see the nail when rebalancing, changing etc
I do the same 😊that way I have a protective layer underneath the color/design and I can clearly see any changes or liftings on the nail plate ☺️
Anastasia you are an amazing nail tech, a professional through and through and I appreciate you. Thank you ☺❤
Love that mani. The green is gorgeous ❤
OMG it's amazing! These nails make me think of a lime and lime drinks. I love that you're so careful and prepared to say that something isn't safe with the level of damage.
I'm growing out damage I did while practicing on myself and it's such a slow process! I feel for your client in that respect.
I love this set! They look like Tinkerbell nails!😍
I would have politely addressed the problem with the salon so they realize their service is doing damage and have a chance to correct. Depending on their reaction, I'd leave a review on Google/Yelp.
Beautiful as always!! I love the lime green and the stones.
This is one on the reasons why I stopped going to salons. I learned how to do it myself watching your videos and others on CZcams and buying my own equipment and polishes/gels. Believe it or not, investing money in the beginning actually saved me money and time in the long run.
your nail videos are always the best!! so informative and fun to watch!!
Love this shade of green.Beautiful nails
The glitter looks like opal😍
Once I went to get acrylics and she filed so much of my nail that it hurt so bad. I flinched bc it hurt and she said it hurt bc I “keep moving” giving me attitude and I’m like “I flinched bc it hurt”🙄 meanwhile she kept using me to translate to her for the electric company and I didn’t speak her language so I just tried to simplify it as much as I could for her. Anyway I paid w my card bc I tip in cash and saw me hit $0 for tip and rolled her eyes at me and marched outside to speak to another company that came by. Her mother was like “she’s here on her own, doing everything on her own” in broken English. Anyway I gave her a few bucks outside and her demeanor changed. I felt bad bc it looked like she was having an awful day. Then that nail broke off the one that hurt really bad. I went to another salon and that guy was scary. Ripped that nail off and filed it some more. I felt the burn and pain in my chest as he worked on it and put acrylic over it. When I finally saw my nail… there was a pool of blood under the acrylic. NEVER AGAIN!!
When I saw the thumb nail, I was like ouch 😮
Beautiful set! Thank you for all your informative videos 💜
Glad you like them!
I absolutely love this set. The soft creamy green is a favourite of mine. I have very glad I took your beginners nail course, it helped me perfect application and filing with gel and acrylic.:)
This-- happened to me so many times when I got acrylics. I already had thin nails … I gave up manicures for over a decade.
Absolutely gorgeous!
I love that green and the rhinestones with the glitter… OMG BEAUTIFUL 😻
So gorgeous!🤩
Gorgeous !!
I'm here yay!!! Love your videos thank you for your knowledge
I thought I was already subscribed, so I'm really glad you said something about it at the end. Really lovely set!
I went to a salon in July for the first time in years and only wanted regular polish and the technician did this to my nails. she cut my eponychium three times on one nail and I have those red ridges like she does. I was heart broken about it because my nails looked terrible after and the manicure only lasted 2 days before the polish was falling off. I had 3 nails that were broken and wanted them fixed with acrylic. She used acrylic primer but then gave me gel even though that wasn't what I wanted. I'm never going there again but now I'm also scared to have anyone else do my nails again.
Wow you are amazing the nails came out so pretty. I need to learn this so I have to remember to watch your seminar on acrylic thanks your a fantastic teacher 💖
i would love for you to start telling ua how long each service had taken! thanks and love the channel!
Beautiful work and gorgeous nails😊❤❤

I love this color. And your work is amazing as always.
These are STUNNING!
I wish I knew this when I was younger having my nails done. I was always in pain because my nails were overfiled. I no longer go to salons. I do my own nails now.
Gorgeous Nails and transformation!
The design.❤❤❤❤❤
Gorgeous nails ❤
Gel is most def ur strong point.
The mani is beautiful Anastasia! 🥰
So pretty
Major OUCH!!! 🤯🤯🤯
I loved this set!
Well done they are so pretty but what does the client say?
Beautiful look!!!Tfs💜💖💜
I think her reaction was perfect! I’m glad she left!
Love this design, it says fresh and beautiful ❤
You wouldn't believe how much in and out salons burn and over drill the nail, cut the cuticle and cause bleeding and act like its no big deal.
😮
LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE!!!!
Beautiful job! I love that green!
Thank you!
I notice her lunulas are wide, like mine. I have no deep pocket and have to be careful especially on my thumbs when e-filing. I caused damage to both thumbs from overfiling cuticle prep. Luckily theyve grown out normally!
Beautiful design!! ❤❤
These r so pretty love the colour., I wud hav done the same as yr client did xxxxxx
Such a pretty set ❤
Love them, I think you've just gave me an idea fir my next set tysmfs
This happened to me! My first and only time I’ve had my nails done.
She handled it well, however I would take a few additional steps, not so much for my benefit, but for the benefit of future customers…..
1. I would ask to speak to the Salon owner and make her aware of the damage done to my nails. I would assume the customer hadn’t paid yet, but if she had, I would ask for my money back. Also, I probably would not return to that salon, but if she wanted to, I would obviously ask for someone else and also ask for my next service to be complimentary to make up for the terrible service I received. (Note: I would hope the owner would pay the person who provided the free service, as she should not have to go unpaid because of someone else’s mistake…of course, this should all be handled behind the scene and not involve me.)
2. I would make a comment on Yelp under the Salon I went to, with the person’s name who provided the terrible service and state exactly what she did wrong. Also, to be fair to the Salon, I would also state that I spoke with the manager and list what she did to try and make it right.
3. If I chose NOT to go back to that Salon, I would obviously go elsewhere, but I would still make a comment on Yelp about the terrible service provided.
*I feel it’s important to report what happened because it’s me looking out for the next person. I would want someone else who experienced something like that to make a comment and share their experience.
😉
I do my own nails, I am not a professional by any means but i have had so many bad experiences that I no longer go to nail salons. My nails are very thin and my fingers are tiny, I have gotten many burns and cuts.
It turned out great.
Love this design ❤
These are beautiful ❤
How can I be your nail model for acrylic? I’d love to let you do whatever style or color you want.
😍😍 so beautiful
Great video. Beautiful nails.
Thank you! 🤗
I do gel nails but I still love the smell of monomer 😅
So if filling the nails and it burns it means the nail is to thin?? What can u use to protect the nail
If I could find someone who wouldn’t damage my nails I’d do this. My experiences have been horrible, not as bad as this but so close to the cuticle that it was always painful. Then there was the removal 😢
Great vid
In this instance I'd have stopped the service and showed them the over filing. I would not have paid them. If they seemed genuinely sorry about it, that would be the end of it. If they denied it or got angry with me, then I'd have gone full blast on social media! ☺
Why wouldn’t you have paid?
Because they severely damaged her nails. She came to receive professional service and she got injured instead.
I really hate this, every time I go to my favorite nail salon, I get the same damage…. Also.. I just Subscribed!! ❤❤
How long for wildly over filed sidewalls
Nice
Beautiful
😍😍😍👍❤️❤️🙌 beautiful!
my god I can feel the pain
Ouch...it hurts only by watching this
Nail materials cause serious internal problems⚠️ Please always have gloves, mask and have good ventilation⚠️
She was right to stop the service. I'd hope she showed the manicurist and manager what the problem was, so the manicurist could learn from her mistakes. Pay the bill and see what happens. If the salon doesn't charge, keep using them, but find a more learned manicurist. If they charge you full price, find a whole new salon. Bad reviews in yelp only hurt the good manicurists in that salon, and it doesn't provide a learning lesson for the manicurist. Now if the salon tells you to go pound sand.... yelp away!
I saw a local nail tech post pictures of her work, and you can clearly see the rings of fire under the clear product she applied on her model's nails. Now, I know that this may not be due to her own work, but why would you choose to show that in your ads?
I would talk to the manager before leaving. Whoever the technician was, can do the same (or worse) to someone else.
Looks so painful, I hope she is OK and heals well, her poor nails. I definitely wouldn't give a good review. Tools don't do damage fools do damage. 😮
So scary that people might not know why their nails are hurting and then they walk out injured 😢
Omg that look painful af
good lord those arent rings of fire those are whole continents of fire😳 i remember accidentally doing that to myself when i was first starting
💅❤
Just keep your nails natural!!! Back în the 70,s there was no such thing
