♡♡Here's a short summary of the things you need to avoid:
❌Having gel manicure for too long - 4 weeks is max
If you have a split or broken nail, fix it asap
✅Applying regular nail polish on top is ok to fix the look but it won't really to prolong the life of manicure
✅If you used primer - it will be quite hard to soak it off
✅Do manicure & cuticle care before applying gel - without it, gel manicure is not going to stay!
✅Use prep products, dehydrator and primer (watch the entire video to have a better understanding whether you need to use primer or not)
✅Build the structure for weak, brittle nails
✅Yes, it’s ok to file the shape after applying the gel

I'm guilty of leaving my overlay too long, but in my defence I was hand feeding my sick guinea pig every 4 hours. She passed away 2 days ago and once I'm feeling better I'll fix my nails.

Homeless cats and suicidal mosquitos sure make a nail video extra fun. Try scotch tape to pick up the stamped nail around the nail. It comes right off and less likely to get acetone on the stamped nail. I seriously need a cat stamping plate.

Add a little bit of glycerin to your acetone (add bit by bit until it no longer fully mixes) and it won't leave your skin dry.

I have been using gel polish since it came out. I HATE soaking gel polish, acrylics, gel nails.......all of them. I have tried so many methods. I like using a drill to remove overlay, polish, etc. . . Be very careful not to get into your natural nail. I found if I use primer but NO base coat, my nails will stay until.......... I am guilty of letting products grow off too far. I do start shortening my nails weekly to a short length undercutting free edge to get rid of the thicker look. I will say my nails are hard but never have 10 the same kength so it may make a difference

Question, have you used your nail printer often? I was wondering if you would consider doing a video tutorial, printing a set with Van Gogh paintings. Is there a down-side to those printers?

What do you recommend in a situation when nail beds on one hand are slightly bit longer than on the other? Should the nails be proportional to the nail beds or aligned with the other hand?

I have a problem with my nails where there is a layer of my natural nail growing but everytime this happens it flakes up and looks like dead cuticle. I try to let it grow out but when I do fills it just restarts the growth again. What do you suggest
Do you mean it flakes - underneath the overlay? Once the natural nail grows longer?
when my natural nail grows longer it grows where the cuticle is, but it’s a layer of my nail not my actual cuticle.
You applied primer before polygel, but there was obviously a coat of something in between that you didn't mention. What was it?

Hi Anastasia. I have been trying to learn to do my own nails for quite some time now, but due to over filing they are really thin and short. And every time i put full cover tips on, my fingers are really itchy so i have to take them off. So i was thinking if i use short half cover tips instead, would that help and what would be the best thing to adhere them with? PLEASE PLEASE help as this is getting me down and it's the only way I'm going to be able to grow my nails again. Ty

Hey Anastasia. I have weak natural nails and I get severe lifting around the 2 week mark, no matter what I do. What product would be best for weak nails? I do medium length extensions and currently trying an overlay (I let my nails grow out).
Soft gel tips maybe seem to last better but I'm an acrylic girl.

Oh yes the darn bugs just LOVE the uv light - I mean thats what attracts them to bug zappers! Would the Modelones 3 in 1 remove the sticky layer? I imagine it would - I need to stop using Isopropyl alcohol because what I thought was a gel allergy is actually looking like an IA allergy. And it will even go through nitrile gloves ans I found out on Saturday when I spilt it on my left hand =/

What’s being used to do the reverse stamping painting? Is it specific stamping polish? Do we have to let it dry before stamping?
Yes, it’s stamping nail polish , it dries pretty quickly on its own , so you don’t need to wait to let it try

I have a question. The modelones products is described with 10% of essential oil. Is it gonna be a problem? Since it's said to be a cleaner and a nail prep..... Can't the oil be a adhesion problem? Thanks
True! That’s why I don’t recommend using it as the only prep product . I use it to clean dust after filing , but then apply their dehydrator anyways - to clean the oils 😉

Or any pigmented / solid cream gel polish will work too
