I kinda agree with his take on the Kickstarter, a tonne of early tech projects were started by engineers who could throw a prototype together but had zero idea on what mass production actually involved. They're an order of magnitude more difficult to deliver than any other catagory. Don't get me wrong, MANY have been scams... but I feel most of the polished ones came much later on.

The thing is that, this wasn't an issue of mass production. If they threw together a prototype (like Allen did, for example) they would immediately see that it's not feasible. Instead they had a clearly faked video of a product that didn't exist.

I was not expecting this.
Michael Superbacker is a gem and needs to be protected. Thank you for doing this and helping him gain the confidence to move forward and hopefully enjoy his screen time.
You need to make one with a compressed air tank. There could be a mechanism at the top with a bunch of nozzles that increase pressure and control the flow. The valves could be electronically controlled to pulse the air bursts for more rain devastation. Perhaps even make the nozzles spin on some mechanism.
He got me when he finally opened up. To hear it wasn't just the fact he got screwed by a scam, that he stayed understanding about it despite being so frustrated was one thing. But combined with the innocent dream most of us can relate to, to feel closer to that amazing future we seen in Star Trek. I don't often get moved to tears but damn dude. Hits too close to home. If you read this Michael Superback, I hope for the best possible future life can give you, you deserve it man.
