    It’s funny because in first few seconds of your video I remind myself Chicago potholes, but i doesn’t have idea where you are. But after 30 seconds I recognized the area. I used to live there 14 years before I moved to Nevada. I got the sam B& shifter in my Super Bee. I will post new videos pretty soon ✌🏼

      @@gearheadAbe yes, I like Nevada for space and better streets and highways (no potholes) The weather it’s nicer to because we have no winter in Las Vegas area, only in Mt. Charleston

    Hey there got a question. My 1987 formula 350 which is now a 383 is running like crap. I put a chip in for tuning but the car is reading really rich, the maf sensor I replaced is reading 150 grams and the base pulse width is at 550 rpm is like 8.1 which is crazy. I need help havent run the car since getting back from motor guy. Keeps flooding plugs.

    • @gearheadAbe
      @gearheadAbe  Před 2 lety

      Definitely sounds like it's getting too much fuel If you know anyone that doesn't dyno tuning maybe they could hook up a laptop computer and see the readout. Was it a mail order tune?

    Nice. Does the trans have a shift kit as well? It seems to shift quicker than stock, but not as quick as I’d think a transgo shift kit car would shift.

    I have a 3rd gen camaro and as much as i love it & wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world i always wished it had a similar gauge cluster like the firebirds :/ it just looks so much more badass if there was a way to put in a firebird gauge cluster in the camaro i would do it in a heartbeat but i cant so ill be making my own, something that fits in where the stock gauges already are obviously, i wanna make it all aluminum to give it that more badass mean look

    • @gearheadAbe
      @gearheadAbe  Před 2 lety +1

      I totally agree with you I love the interior specifically the gauge cluster of the firebirds and trans am much more than the camaros. If they had an easy conversion to do it would be sweet but I totally understand your love for the camaro f body . I to am crazy for my bird

    • @gearheadAbe

      I was saying in the video that the 373 rear end is loud but I've neen told its normal for that gear ratio to sound like this

    Great video! I have a 69 SS NOVA that I am upgrading with a TCI TH400 transmission. Debating between Z-GATE AND Megashifter….. Curious to your thoughts on which one is better?

    • @gearheadAbe
      @gearheadAbe  Před rokem +1

      I think the Z gate might feel better than the megashifter just maybe more solid feel i love the megashifter tho but i think that it just might be more solid feeling when shifting then the mega .
