Have you scanned it for codes yet? Its most likely the check vsc trac off will illuminate on the dash when you put the car in drive. This is common when you have a check engine light on the ls430. You might also want to do an engine compression test although I feel as if your problem may be fuel pump related since it sat on bad fuel for 5 years. Also, make sure you don't have any bad fuses especially any fuel pump related fuses. A bad fuse will drain a battery dead very quickly even when new. A simple scan for codes will let you know if you have any misfires on any cylinders, camshaft/crankshaft sensor issues, evaporative/emission related issues (purge valve solenoid, charcoal canister, gas cap, and fuel lines). After you get the car running, you will need to have timing services done asap (timing belt, tensioner, water pump, idlers, etc.). The timing belt should be changed every 90k miles or 9 years whichever comes first. However, since this car has sat for 5 years, and has over 200k miles, it's mostly due for an immediate timing belt change. I have a 2001 UL with 93k miles, one owner that I purchased last year in great condition with all service records. It had a check engine light with the check vsc and trac off lit up on the dash. The scanner displayed codes for vacuum leak. I changed the gas cap, and purge valve solenoid and the engine/ check vsc light went away after about 15 miles of driving. I haven't had any other problems since, and this car drives like a dream. Anyway, good luck with this restoration, and I will follow you along the way as a new subscriber.

Most likely. Check the crank position sensor. Had something similar with my gs430. Crank no start. Fresh spark plugs. Turns out it was the crank position sensor
