I am pulling for you to straighten out that beautiful beast and impressed with your repeated deep dives under the hood
Thank you thank you 🙏🏼! Hopefully will be going soon!!
Man I replaced the fuel pump gasket in my ISF, that was a b*tch and a half. I was replacing the valve cover gasket seals and I find it hard to believe anyone has ever done this job without breaking something. 😂
Same here brother!!!
I love my garage queen LS460 Fsport and I couldn't help but laugh when you called it a dumpster fire!! She looks sooo damn pretty sitting in my garage and the only reason I haven't offloaded her is she's the last of Lexus V8 NA. So far for 2024(February ~ April) I have refreshed the entire front end suspension all OEM, high pressure fuel pump reseal, 4 new tires, pulled some dings, paint corrected and ceramic coated and Valley Plate resealed. All I can say it's north of $9k and all she does is sit in the garage.
That’s awesome! I’m sure your car is in pristine condition. Don’t get me wrong, I think the LS 460 is one of the best cars ever built. The “dumpster fire “was referring to my car at that specific point in time. Not a generalization of the car.😅
Thanks for your comment 🙏
I had overall good luck with my 07 LS but like almost any other owner had to replace valve cover gaskets (which I didn’t replace in time caused oil to be sprayed onto the O2 sensor needing that to be replaced too) and front control arms. The other thing I had to replace were the engine mounts. All this was not cheap on this car but probably took care of things for another 100k miles.
I traded that in for 2014 LS460 F-Sport and immediately had to fix the leaking valve cover gaskets. I am waiting for the air suspension to go eventually but bought a good set of air shocks from a buddy’s LS with only 33k miles on them.
Good luck with yours!
Wow! How do you like the ls460 f sport
@@Sam_Dunn it’s nice! It comes from the factory with a few performance enhancements like the air suspension, 6 piston Brembo calipers in the front, forged (but still heavy) BBS 19” wheels, and Torsen limited slip differential. They are very rare.
i can’t stop thinking about modding my ls460 after watching this video i’ll be sticking with preventative maintenance😂
Please do!!
I just dropped another tranny in my 2007 LS460, I refused to give it up so I fixed it lol. Let's get these beast together bro!!! where did you get that jacket at???
What’s good bro I see your in Florida dude?
I live in fl myself let me tell you I’ve been in Tennessee for the last week and the weather has been so all over the place and cold as f$$$.
As far as landscaping definitely year around but in the winter months it does tend to get slower, that’s when you negotiate with your homeowners the price for those months so they don’t get cheap on you and act like money just falls from trees!!
commercial properties you will make a killing and most of the time those are contracts.
Any ways man good luck with the 460 can’t wait to see what the heck is wrong with it something tells me at something small.
Good luck brother.
Thanks for the advice! Definitely looking forward to getting back in the grind of things when I return! Big updates on the 460 soon😁
Denso OEM radiator on Rockauto for $137.89. It should be the revised radiator with the stronger overflow nipple. Buy OEM radiator or nothing else. Looks like you may have an unrevised radiator part. It's fine though, it'll be years before that nipple breaks off.
Oh geez! Hopefully she lasts😬
Maan that's tough luck with your LS, troubleshooting was engaging tho. Hope to see it revived in a month
Same here, my friend!
That Polaroid in the dash tho 🔥
i wanna get one but by seeing your videos my mind keeps changing are they really that unreliable im planning to get a japanese spec 2011 and up
They are not unreliable, just crate hard to fix on the rare occasion they break!
Where u in Nj ?
I’m glad my poptart comment made it @9:44 😂
This is my fav CZcams channel
Your my fav viewer
you should get a pair of 600hl headlights for the 460
treason 😂
I’m so glad I didn’t go out to dinner tonight I had to
Wow but appreciate you not giving up.
Never💪 (unless I have to leave to leave for Florida)😞
@@Sam_Dunn understand.
Relocate your business here (I'm in Florida) you'll do very well.
No way!! What part?
@@Sam_Dunn yea haha Palm Beach area
Landscapers are busy all year in Florida
@Yatchls what oil is best for these cars?
Personally, I use mobile 15W 20 high mileage, full synthetic! Although somebody was telling me, I might want to switch to a more dense viscosity because of how much oil I’m burning. It will prevent less oil from seeping past. The valve seals
I just started using idemitsu, i cant really tell a difference but i wanna say it burns less oil if not the same
@@Sam_Dunn alright thank you👍🏼
@@Tweaked818 I bought one last week so I’m new to this car and was just wondering. Thank you for the advice !
What’s the mileage i got the same car but it’s a 2013 with 136,000 miles
180k
You got your hose flipped I did the same thing
Yo next video I talk about how that was the problem!! I needed you a couple weeks ago😂
It seems 07-09 were trouble some from what I've heard.
Yeah, you have the valley plate seal, control arms, possible transmission clunkiness, and the sticky plastic from pre-2010 models. Starters seem to also be common on 460s, they're a pain in the ass to change.
@Nathan_Jay Yeah wouldn't be my favorite diy job.. so we're the 2010-12 better? Less issues? Looking to buy one I love the 13 but wife is getting a gx460 so I'm trying to keep a budget.. and it's about a 10k difference for a good one.
You poked the bear. Best of luck.
Hahah thank you 🙏
@@Sam_Dunn No fault since your buddy did the fuel take down before you got to it and remember these engines are both direct and indirect fuel systems. Its a terrific car and motor.
How's the ls430?
It’s good! Updates soon!
What in gods name is that exhaust and those taillights 😢😔
You focused so much on ruining that cars prestige and turning it into a rice rocket with horrible looking exhaust that you abused making sure all the engine components were good before focusing on the exterior. Classic noob mistake.
Fortunately, cars are easier to replace than all the incredible memories that were and are still being forged with this LS! Would not trade them for a boring car!!
Thanks for stoping by!! 💪
