I am nearly 70 years old and my memory is slipping away at an disastrous rate. Life has become so scary. Things that were once easy are so difficult, and it is all terribly frightening. I continue to look much younger than my age, and still work, but my lack of recall means my days are numbered. I feel terrible for the people being victimized as I can see myself in their position. Just want you to know that you are my hero. Thank you for what you are doing.
@P J S How sweet of you. I will, and thank you so much.
Did you invest in the Adrenal package which is rather expensive, or did you follow dietary guidelines and add recommended vitamins... PS I'm so glad you had such a wonderful outcome, and your mam certainly raised you to be a kind and caring person. xo
@P J S Sounds like what you're doing is just right. And here I was eating apples for a healthy snack... like 3 a day :( I'm making a list of things on the video and will follow your lead. Thank you again for reaching out and hope you continue to get better each and every day. xo

How severely has autism affected you
@@fukkitful that's because it depends on the autisme itself. you got hundreds of different ones others are more noticeble, and others aren't. sorry for bad english
Brad Maggard from a CZcams comment and profile pic? No, of course you wouldn’t.
@@fukkitful maybe because we're normal people just like everyone else?
@@fukkitful We get this a lot. "Oh you don't look autistic..." "You don't act it, I never would have guessed." How does someone "act" a certain disability? You don't "act" blind, you don't "act" like you have depression, and you don't "act" autistic. The thing is, Autism is a *spectrum disorder*, and some people have more severe symptoms than others. I for example am very mild, but it still makes it difficult for me to function sometimes. I still have issues communicating properly because I misread scenarios, or I say more than I should, or I assume friendship and closeness where there's none.
A lot of us have actually learned to camouflage some aspects of our disability - example, I don't "hand-flap", I instead twirl my hair or click a pen. And many of us have learned how to react socially, but that doesn't mean we're always good at it. You randomly make loud noises, I still get flustered. You put me on a time crunch, I still panic. You mess with my workspace and workflow when I had everything in order, I still get annoyed and it still frustrates me, but I'm not going to melt down about it.
Autism isn't a thing that is a certain set of symptoms and then it goes away after childhood. It's a social disability. People like us *cannot* read people well, understand intent, or necessarily communicate the way someone not on the spectrum does. That's why we're at risk for being scammed, taken advantage of, or fooled. We literally cannot pick up on the subtle social cues that someone is lying unless we learn otherwise or are taught what to look for, and it's worse for us often when we're tired. To us, not only is everyone wearing a mask, we ourselves are wearing masks, because if we take the mask off people seem to think there's something wrong with us. There really isn't, we just have brains that work in a very, very different way. It's not that we're broken, we just have something that is a bit of a hurdle for us sometimes in a world that really isn't built for us. And half the time, we might not even know why we're the way we are ourselves.
This makes me sick to watch but I'm kind of glad I did. Really proves that we, the technologically sound, need to educate our grandparents and parents so they don't fall for this in future.
Keep doing what you're doing Jim. It's an important fight.

Hi Jim, i had this case with a 30 year old mentally disabled man, i cared for. he is fit enough to live in his own flat with 2 other people, but still needs some help in some parts of life, also being very insecure in his persona. and he had this pop up virus warning and call this number trick. he was in such shame and insecurity to tell anyone (you know, how these scammers talk to people), so he wanted to handle it on his own, went to the gas station, bought amanon cards for 250 eu and showed them into the laptop webcam... these scammers really dont give a f*ck how insecure or even mentally disabled people are. And let me tell you, these 250 eu are nearly as much, as this guy has for 1 month for his private spending. ..i am thankful for people like you!! also i plan on giving group seminars in the state i am living in, to make mentally disabled people aware of these type of scams, that this wont happen to them. i cant hack, so this is my part of helpin the people outthere not gettin a victim to this... peace and respect to you from germany, Skeli :)
That's amazing of you to want to spread the knowledge of something this scary happening to the most vulnerable. Thank you for doing this. People like you are what make the world a better place 🧡
@@averagejoe8483 Thnx for your kind words 😊... if i can help people like this, i def. want to try my best. This project is still in the beginning, but i am goin to do this. Make the world a little more safer and people aware of it... All the best n happiness to you, peace, dj skeli
glad you’re helping out!
I agree with you how evil these thieves are. No merciful bone in their body or conscience.
You’re a hero keep it up :)
It takes a rotten character to pull stunts like this. Absolutely no shame.
it's horrible that scammers laugh when they see a disabled person or an elder person, that's how uneducated they are, elder people are full of wisdom, but susceptible for scams, which truly is sad, keep up the good work, you are a legend to the scambait community
I work for BT. I will forward this video to our phising team
Else89 really?
@@reidlab yeah make sure they stop people scamming
Is there much that BT can actually do? These sorts of calls of scammers pretending to be telecoms companies 'supporting' clients seem to be rife. I mean, if our law enforcement can't actually track them (yet Jim can) - and when they do cannot do much of anything as they're overseas anyway...
Jim usually uses tricks like pretending to be a victim and he may do things such as install a R.A.T software on their machines to gain access to their network (many scambaiters use specialist harder to detect software that isn't easily available and disguise that R.A.T as a legitimate looking software such as notepad or Microsoft Word)
SuperFIFTHGEAR they can make their customers more aware
My heart stopped when she said "He can't remember these things, his memory is going." She was so frustrated and this piece of shit just wouldn't let up. How Jim listens in without raging is beyond me.

I am disabled and get calls all the time but I don't answer them. When I have picked up, usually when I am expecting another call, I just curse them and hang up. I don't give out information even to Humana now. I tell them to mail me anything they want me to know or ask. I don't trust anyone anymore. Thank you Jim even for these older videos.
Sometimes you can hear other scammers in the background. Really reminds you how many of them there are…

This genuinely makes me sick to my stomach. I hope someone that’s close to her shows her how disgusting she is.
Discussing behaviour from that despicable women. The worst scammer I have ever heard 😢
This is so hard to watch... These scammers are monsters, no humans...
No, never forget that they are humans. These are humans that are willingly taking such actions against other fellow humans, and that makes them much worse than monsters.

Wow!! I’m in shock, how heartless and cruel! I’m currently binge watching all your videos but this was one the biggest lows I’ve watched so far... they take advantage of age... disability... mentality... disgusting. I’m truly disgusted, “I’m so sorry to hear about you being disabled”, poor woman has no idea she is so pure and wholesome. I can’t believe that these Indian scammers will do anything even if it means taking away money from these poor clueless people. She is so desperate for money that she’d be waiting for almost two hours to get at least a pinch of penny from this disabled couple and absolutely gets fed up when she can’t remember her details. Serves her right.
Here we are in 2021 and the scammers are thriving, this is so frustrating, these videos should be compulsory viewing for all bank customers,
I love how she said “these people are from out of the country”, and then she says “I don’t know from which part of the country” 😂
Oh she said "these people are not from our country" What a disgusting pos all of these scammer are.

also "i'm so sorry to hear about you" is not something you EVER want to say to anyone with a disability
"oh, i'm so sorry you exist, you poor poor thing"
She is a goddamn bitch
Right? I’m disabled too and I literally shouted “FUCK YOU” at the screen when she said that. We don’t need your pity, lady. In fact, I pity you! You must be pretty fucked-up to stoop this low.
She probably meant she was sorry to hear about his disability. Not that I think these people have good hearts, she was just trying to earn their trust.
Alejandra Tejeda - but that’s exactly what the OP meant. We hear “I’m sorry to hear about your disability” so much, and even if well-meant, it comes from a place of ignorance and pity. We don’t need that, we just want to be treated like the normal people we are.
I'm totally blind and hate it when people try to pity me. "I'm so sorry that you're blind and you are so amazing for going places on your own." The worst one I ever got was someone asking who let me out? I asked of where? And they said of your group home. My boyfriend and I were like, "We let ourselves out. We live on our own in an apartment building." This Nancy woman is just plain ignorant and cruel! To hang up on her victim like that without even a "Nice talking to you," or "goodbye," what a bitch.
I’m so glad I’ve found this channel! It’s making me much more aware about my internet safety!!!
These scammers live such sad and disappointing lives. They are so desperate to make money off of people their morality is all fucked up.

Hearing the old woman's voice gave me the chills, it's so similar to my granny's
Take care of your grandparents, folks
Absolutely heartbreaking to watch these scammers trying to take advantage of older people, especially disabled ones. I've thankfully drilled it into my grandparents heads that if anything like this ever happens to hang up and call me and I'll look into what the supposed problem is. Sadly, not everyone is able to do that.
I like to think the old couple actually knew it was a scam the whole time and just wasted the scammers time.
I have never before felt the urge to curse as I do know.
It’s so painful to listen to this conversation but grateful that it amounted to nothing. Thanks so much Jim.
I really respect what you do at catching these scammers and stop them in their tracks. I ask applaud you for contacting the victims and informing them of the fraud. It shows great character on your part that you do this and inform everyone with your videos for free. God bless you.
When I heard the old mans voice saying “what’s this about?” I teared up, watching this makes me feel a little ill.
I work as customer service agent for Lloyds and we would never log in to their accounts or ask for personal passwords. If it's a genuine call centre they should have all necessary info. I feel terrible after watching this...
ASMR Valkerie: This vicious, ruthless Indian female scammer needs to be hunted down (along with the rest of them). We genuinely need Bounty Hunter videos linked with Jim’s videos of them victoriously hunted down and put in prison for life, so that Jim’s noble hard work always prevails in protecting the public.
@@thereseember2800 sadly, I live in India and no major action has been taken against these scammers other than the ones who were 'properly' caught red handed through raids etc which are very few.
It is really sickening but the people who you call scammers are just normal people desperate for jobs who were lured in by "good pay" from the CEOs of these companies.
They search for people who can mimic foreign accents (more like mask their Indian accent somehow) and they are trained for a few months on how to scam
呪Noro: You are WRONG! They are massively and successfully being hunted down as we speak. Europol, Eurojust, the FBI, Interpol, Microsoft, Apple and Google, the UK, America, Australia and Canada have globally banned together and these criminals ARE successfully being put in prison! They even arrested and extradited one Indian national as he was trying to exit Dubai. It’s global that it IS being criminally addressed. Scammers in 26 different Call Centers in New Delhi alone (and nearby) were put in prison. Indian scammers are causing NO ONE globally to ever trust ANYONE with an Indian accent. So it’s crucial to STOP these unconscionable criminals.
Jim is a HERO and his hard work to protect the public meets with profound success. Thank God that there are valiant noble heroes just like him in this world, taking these criminals down.
A Russian scam ring was also put in prison.

This makes me want to vomit. I have both physical disabilities that mean I need 24-hour care and I did have a scammer try to take advantage of me specifically because of that - thankfully I was entirely aware of what he was doing and was stringing them along in the hope it would at least keep them from bugging someone else but it disgusts me that when I reported the person to instagram (as he was sending me DMs lying about who he was and trying to scam money from me) they did nothing - apparently they see nothing wrong with someone pretending to be someone famous and trying to scam money - repeatedly - from fans of that person, taking advantage of their disabilities, lying and saying it's going to a charity for orphaned kids that the celeb is known to support, and which his fans have raised tens of thousands of pounds of money for (as well as tens of thousands more for other charities for helping the victims of human trafficking, guide dogs, Alzheimers etc). It's disgusting.
Facebook is just as uninterested. People openly ripping others off, but nothing is done when reporting these scams. Sadly it's all about the money...they DO NOT care about us in the slightest. Sorry to hear the same thing is happening on other Social media sites. The internet is a fantastic thing...but it needs these huge multibillion pound .com businesses to crack down on theives.
