The Kobra is a Zamperla flat ride based in Chessington World Of Adventures, a theme park in London. As with all rides of its type, riders sit in a motorcycle-like position in outward-facing seats at the edge of the circular ride platform. The ride model features an airtime hill (AKA camel back hump) in the middle of the track, and two steep slopes at either end. The platform spins and travels backwards and forwards along the track at moderate speed.
Minimum height: 1.20 metres For safety reasons, adventurers must be properly secured in the ride seat, which means this ride may not be suitable for adventurers with torso measurements approaching 51 inches.
This has to be one of the best Zamperla rides out there! Looks fun, decent ride time and nice theming

This is the same as Mia's Riding Adventure at Legoland. You're kept in your seat by the fact they are very slanted forward, so you naturally fall in towards the handholds, but then your lower back is also locked in with a backrest. It's actually really comfortable.
That's a very creative design, never seen one like it
They got a version of it at Legoland Windsor too now
Love this but those seats crush you OMG I figured out a way to stop it a bit but only bc I've been on it like 20 times

I love this ride soooo much I've been on it and it tickles my tummy everytime I go down 😂 I'm going to chessingtons tomorrow or sometime this week, I'm sleeping for 2 days. Everyone should go on this ride!

I've been searching and I think there may be a replica of Kobra at country singer, Dolly Parton's Dollywood amusement park called "The Dizzy Disk."
@@alanmorris7669 well there is a ride called Dizzy disc at Oakwood theme park in Wales. Not sure if this is what your talking about

When I went there they weren't allowing all the seats to be filled up. Literally eight people were going on at a time. I don't get why.
Probably had problems getting some of the seat back restraints to come up

on the ride the seats are so tight and thats so annoying everytime
I recommend putting your hand on your back around the area the back of the seats hits and then after the seat comes up and is secure take your hand away and then your left with a bit more room

I kanda like that, I feel like I'm wearing a suit of chest armour and I don't know why but it makes me feel so powerful.
Idk whether to go on or not, going in july for a school enrichment trip and rarely go on rides so body isnt used to it. Is it bad for me to go on or is it scary?? Idkkkk
It looks worse than what it is, it's a gentle spin and rock. You will be fine , just see how you feel on the day.

This is a good ride but there are no seatbelts and u just have to hold on ???
You are held in, your lower back is gently clamped keeping your upper body free.

The seats are really tight like the back things hurt your back a lot but great ride in chessington
It travels at 43mph, the actual spinning is quite slow.
