Thanks for making this video. This was tremendously helpful to me as a new motorcycle & toy hauler owner.

Great video. I was looking for a cheaper way to do this other than buying a kit I’ve seen. Thanks!

Great idea. I’m not seeing those racks or anything similar. Do you happen to have a part number or description?
    Thanks.

On the d-ring could you use a J bolt and wingnut?

I’m sure it’s possible. Haven’t ever tried that. Great idea though! I’ll give it a try and let you know.

Not sure I’d have my tire sitting on that bar for a long distance. It might be ok for a cruiser but if you damaged the integrity of the carcass of the tire you might have issues at speed. I once ran over an expansion joint that caused a sharp 2 in rise in the surface of the road, hit it at about 30-35 mph. It was a bit of a jolt but hey, no problem right? Tires and suspension were made to handle it, right? Later that day on the freeway I had a front wheel blow out at 80mph. An investigation named that event as the culprit. It separated cords in the tire and when enough centripetal force was applied… 💥.
