Those are great ideas! I'll add don't take anyone for granted, especially your parents (if you have a good relationship with them obviously) Sometimes when you're young, you don't want to hang out with your parents because that's not cool and you're afraid to be mocked, but parents aren't here forever. When they're gone, they're gone, you'll never have a mom or a dad, ever, so spend time with them while you still can. I'm not saying spend 24/7 with your parents, but make time for them in your busy schedules like you would make time for your friends or your partner. I'm saying this because my mom had a cancer scare before Christmas, which turned out to be nothing serious but hurt me deeply, especially since I've already lost my dad many years ago. I spend the most horrible Christmas thinking it was our last Chistmas together and that next year I'll be alone with just my sister. Life cruelly reminded me that my mom won't be here forever and I should spend as much time as I can with her. So if anyone read this and still have their parents, please don't take them for granted, and make time for them.
thank you for this! my mom had me at a late age compared to most people and my friend’s parents, so it’s hard seeing her get older and experience pain and health problems. i’m an only child and i never met my dad so once my mom is gone, idk what will happen. i really need to spend more quality time with her. it’s hard since im in college but i take online classes at home so im gonna try to balance school and family
Yes! This is so absolutely important. I lost my mom to cancer last year. Im glad your moms situation was just a scare. You really never know the last time you’re going to see a person, so cherish everything! 💕
I wish my relationship with my parents were the same as before I came out… they now hate me, they treat me like a piece of trash and say that my partner and I we are not anymore normal humans and we don't have human rights, that's so sad.
I loved to hang out with them and livw with them, now… it's like hell every single day
I love the idea of being more creative! I enjoy traveling and trying the local cuisine, and find it’s super fun and creative to recreate the dishes in my own kitchen. You’re right, that is a form of creativity!
