    I'm working on a GS750L and I bought a ducati single sided swingarm for it too. It's also too wide and I've been googling my ass off for info on how to make it work and now I finally found exactly what I needed!! Awesome so far

      @@Benji... ups ment a 1980 model 😅 but yeah not really i'am not gonna do the swingarm mount like yours, denmark has crazy laws about cars and motorcycles if I change the frame where the engine is my bike gets a new age which is like an avervge thing and the farme has a weight of 4 in that calculation, which means 2021 x 4 (since thats when its gonna be registated) and if that avervge gives the bike a lower age the 30yr, then ill have to pay a one time payment of about 200% of the bikes estimted value in tax to legally drive on the road hahahah...
      Denmark sucks!!!

    Subscribed! What year gsxr front forks are you using? I'm planning my 1980 Suzuki gs750 build. By the way I spotted that s13 in the back! Very clean. I have a rhd s13 I converted that I've owned for 16 years

    Really enjoyed watching your build, fantastic work. Did you contemplate using a vfr800 single sided swingarm? or is the Ducati Hypomotard the only swingarm to use? thanks

    • @Benji...
      @Benji...  Před 10 měsíci

      We actually did work on a CB750 before that had a VFR swing arm that seemed to work great as well

      hi Benji, i tried a vfr800 swing arm and its too wide for the GS750 frame. The hypermotard swingarm is 25mm narrower so will need less cutting and welding to fit. what year gsxr front end would you recommend? 2011 onwards? @@Benji...

    What mono shock did you use for this project and how do you know whether a suspension option is sufficient?

    • @Benji...
      @Benji...  Před 2 lety

      This is using the hypermotard rear shock. I did as much research as I could on motorcycle geometry but mostly going to see how it goes

      @@Benji... i hear that. I’m actually planning on using my entire 02 gsxr750 for this build. Kind of restomod cafe. So she will have almost double the power and be fuel injected. Are you on ig?
