  • I finally got some good headwind on the ducati single sided swing arm conversion for the GS750 build. I got the swing arm aligned and made an upper mount for the rear shock, as soon as I get tires mounted we can get this thing rolling

    Loving this build, really awesome work. Just starting my own GS750 now got the R1 front end ready to go. You've got me thinking about a single sided swingarm conversion.

      Amazing! The swing arm conversion is definitely not an easy one but it really changes the bike a lot

    Build an offset spacer for the main sprocket and trace the mounting surface of the clutch cover and make a spacer, that way you can still have the factory look and the cover will still fit just moved out a bit from stock

    Where did you find those I'm doing my Suzuki 450 SL conversation to a single sided swing arm . And what arm did you use the year and model .

    I haven't seen you check the wheel alignment yet, as in both wheels in the centre of the bike ? ?

      Thanks for checking Bill, yes I did a string alignment off camera and they seem to be good, I can also shim the subframe either directing if needed

      The wheels are from HSBK racing but unfortunately I can't find a link any more. I believe the brand is called Jonich

    Looking pretty slick dude! This is something i wanted to dive into for my next GS build, but was struggling to find any info on. What Ducati swing arm are you using? Think the ones i was looking at was off a 848.

      Check out the VFR400 as well that's what I was considering. It's dimensions horizontal are nice and narrow so may not need to modify the frame much at all.
