Iesha is correct---The Cowboys only have 3 DTs on the roster. No other position is so lacking in depth.

@@randymarsh3582it’s just bringing up the point that not a lot of people are mentioning in mock drafts. I think most Dallas fans will agree, O Line, RB and LB are necessary on day 1 and 2, but that means your best opportunity for a Dt would be late round 5 or later, and that value is not good deep in the draft. That’s why they mention trading up and getting more picks, etc. sometimes the obvious answers aren’t obvious to everyone so mentioning it may sway others opinions on who they draft, in what rounds, and whether or not they trade.
@@C1L2D3 I would rather get 2 or 3 veterans on the back end of free agency for DT, probably the toughest position to develop

I hate the just throw anyone at C. We need power and strength. We need someone better than Biadasz. Go get one of the top C and then get a OT.

Offense can get a RB and whatever’s best at LG, LT or C, BPA on that one imo. But defense needs help, they should get the rest of the picks, DT and LB both need a double dip.
I like the whole trade back up / trade back up scenario. Hoping we can land Zac Frazier and Kingsley Suamataia.

If a good oline is not available round 1 you need to trade back and take 1. Robinson 2. LB or Oline . 3. RB or LB if you go online in 2. Second third round you get Sweat.
What if you take the Buffalo trade then let's say kc wanted to trade up to 28 would you take that trade again to 32 plus pick up another 3 or 4th rd. Cause you would have the 3 and 4th from buff plus kc 3 or 4th and get your 1st rd pick at 32
I would take that in a heartbeat! There is always a player or 2 that falls.

I don’t think the draft team is thinking in the future enough. I believe that the Cowboys are looking at this draft combined with next year‘s draft and where they will be at that point in 2025. I don’t think the two drafts are independent from each other, in the way that they’re designing their philosophy of who to pick. or how many picks they may wind up with.
I don't put stock in Dallas team building. But the Spurs played chess for a few years and lucked into a great situation getting Wembanyama. They traded good players away slowly, building a solid group of young players. Maybe Dallas does the same.

Defense is just as bad as O line. Take absolute best player available. We gotta draft STARTERS in the first 2 rounds

I love the incel attacks of every female on these podcasts. It just highlights how far we still have to go. Always the same type of guy too. Brian was not good when he first got on the these podcasts. He has matured greatly as some of you need to do. I have seen her have better shows. I can tell she has put in the time and has salient points on over 100 players at this point. The show is informative and has something for everyone which I know is highly offensive to you guys who only can identify with guys who look like you do.

What's funny about discussing this is Dallas is the least likely team to trade during the draft. But if there was ever a draft to trade back, this is the one I believe they might pull the trigger and do it.
I was thinking the same thing. I'm absolutely expecting them to just stand pat and make their picks and tell us its great. The trade back scenarios just make way too much sense in pretty much every likely board scenario.
