    My mom adds some sweet peppers gives it such a extra pretty color and taste. One day you can try it see if you like.

    So sad i didnt get to see the end result😥 however, I ALWAYS add cheese to mine, yes, even on top too. It never lasts long. No leftovers for next day or for a night munch. Ive even tried doubling the recipe and same thing. Corn pie is such a hit in my house. Thanks for showing us your version.

      Colleen Garcia hi actually I buy my dishes/ware at various stores. Majority of my dishes are a decade old and older. I buy at kitchen korner pricesmart etc etc. 🙂

      Colleen Garcia to answer the second part of your question buy what suits your taste and personality. Buy dishes that’s also functional and buy as much plain white as possible you can’t go wrong with white.

      Alicia Gibson hi the brand of butter isn’t important honestly when making things like these........I use butters/margarine from Trinidad 🇹🇹 & at times I use imported sticks of butter from the USA 🇺🇸

      Theresa Collins hi yes it’s going to bake perfect it! Make sure it’s the correct size pan for your ingredients & monitor things while in your oven.....I’ve noticed Food bakes faster in those foil pans. Blessings on your family day 🙂

      34/-1 cup of evaporated milk
      1 1/2 cup whole kernel corn
      1 can of cream style corn
      1 1/2 cup of corn meal(yellow)
      6 medium red pimento peppers
      1 medium onion
      1 bundle of parsley
      1 cup of cheddar cheese
      1/2 teaspoon of grated nutmeg
      1 teaspoon of sea salt
      1 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
      2 tablespoons of butter
      1 teaspoon of crushed chili flakes
      3 medium eggs(if your eggs are small use 4 if your eggs are large use 2)
      Method please view demo and follow all the steps NB bake at 350 until golden brown

      3/4 cup evaporated milk
      Freshly mince seasonings
      1 1/2 whole kernel corn
      1 can of cream style corn
      2 tablespoons of butter/ butter
      3 large eggs
      1 teaspoon of sea salt
      1 teaspoon of freshly cracked pepper
      1 cup of shredded/ grated cheddar cheese
      1 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg
      2 cups of yellow cornmeal/ cornflour
      2 teaspoon of Maggi all purpose season up
      Bake at 350 but be sure to monitor it!
