- Assembly of Homemade PCP Pistol Crosman 2240
Fund my projects: buymeacoffee.c...
In this video I assemble my PCP Crosman 2240, this is not a modification or building video but just an assembly video. This was able to push 15.4 grain pellets at up to 690 fps, which is roughly 16 ftlb. This is a nice little plinker and I had tons of fun with this project.
In this video you will see all the inner parts such as the valve, inlet valve hammer etc as well as how the receiver works. This functions perfectly at 1400-2700 PSI, giving about 25 shots in that range.
1000 psi - 540 fps
1500 psi - 624 fps
2000 psi - 668 fps
2200 psi - 677 fps
2400 psi - 665 fps
2550 psi - 623 fps
2700 psi - 630 fps
2860 psi - 535 fps

Every bit helps keep the creativity flowing!🔥Thanks so much for all the support lately! 🙏
Really amazing. I did well. We hope to make an air regulator regulator with explanation and details, please. Thank you for your effort
tanks you for this video every time
do you have a instagram
sorry, I don't
❤❤❤❤❤ love your videos man no talking just work 😊

Top!👏👏👏👏
thank for the video. i wanna buy some parts
im impressed they used m6 for the pinning screws.. ( even if they are set screws) Ive done the same thing with m8 grubs as the amount of steel in the cross section ( the sheer plane ) was sufficient even without a counterbore cap head. judging by the shot string you need more hammer spring to make use of the 3000 psi.. You should be getting 800 fps no issue.
@@airgunningyup I am happy with those results, the hammer spring is small so I am not surprised
I would rather have less power and more shots🤔
Fery nice pistol mr . Mantaap.. 👍👍♥️
Terimakasih mas 👍👍👍
Now time for a new frame and you can call it whatever you want haha
Hehe yep. I love the crosman frame though, so I will keep it this way
@@pcpairgunschannelvery cool!😎
Bravo!
Nicely done bro!
Parabéns!... muito linda!
Pcp boi is back 😎🔥
Thanks bro! Where are you from?
Kereeeen brather👍🏿👍🏿
pin tip should be slimmer (2mm)
3mm is ideal. Even 6mm works.
Nice, 👍👍👍
nice job Boy☠👌
Very nice. Did you machine all the parts? That's a very nice lookin gun
Thanks! Yep, only thing I didn't make is obviously the trigger frame and grips.
How did you decide on the number of grub screws to use on the valve? Obviously they need to withstand the shear force applied to them.
@@twitchclips3502 based on the shear force. 3 may hold it ok but 4 was safer
My friend AirSight27 calculated it, based on the tube ID, internal pressure and shear strength of a grub screw
Super 👍👍
Awesome video! Did you make the parts for the pistol? I mean the breach, the high pressure tube and so on.
yeah, everything except the crosman grips and frame are homemade.
@@pcpairgunschannel I am really impressed by your craftsmanship. What kind of tube did you use for high pressure air storage?
@@HiddenonAir it’s a 304 stainless steel tube, 22mm outer diameter and 1.5mm wall thickness
@@pcpairgunschannel Thank you!
Saya merasa suara hammer kurang, jadi saat setuh pin valve kurang mendorong, mungkin kamu bisa menggunakan bahan skd11
palunya memukul cukup keras, saya mendapatkan FPS yang saya inginkan.
@@pcpairgunschannel oke bro, selamat bersenang-senang 😁👍
@@saputramargam611 terimakasih mas
😍
How meters can it reach the shot
I don't know how far it can shoot well. But I think at 50 meters you could shoot some targets if you have good aim
The longest i could test was 10 meters, the pellet grouping looked like one single pellet hole so it does have very good accuracy.
Next semi aotu bro🙏
I had some issues with my semi auto bro... But I will make a new tube tank semi auto soon
Can you share the drawing of 2240 with me?
Sorry, I have no drawings

I’m looking for a 3d model of some oem looking Crosman grips do you have anything? Thanks!
Sorry, no. This is just the original Crosman grip
Ok, I made a 9mm pcp shotgun that uses a Crosman 1322/2240 grip frame I don’t have the grips because I bought a p-rod grip frame and 2stage trigger mech for my .22 pcp that didn’t come with grips. Thanks!
How to contact you?!😂

Too many part and so complicated 😅
But when you made the parts yourself you can remember it all easily. Very simple to me
