  • In this episode, we brave the wet weather and explore Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula. We see moose and eagles and watch fishermen catch salmon in amazing locations.

We don’t pick the weather mother nature throws at us. But we make do with the right gear.

Juneau is the state capital, Anchorage is just the largest city in alaska.

How many miles do you have on your New Zealand Toyota Tundra?
Edit: Your newer video said: 94 Land Cruiser 80 series 1FZ gas engine. Nice. I have the typical American Toyota engine with 3UR-FE gas engine.....

Yes, 94 Land Cruiser, modified from SUV body to flat deck pickup in NZ. It is a JDM import to NZ, but like Japan, we drive on the left so all our vehicles are RHD. Currently 275,000 KM or 171,000 miles..

@@gmitchell1963 NIce! Hopefully like the US spec J80 with 1FZ-FE 4.5 L I6 motor, it will last a lifetime. I guess you just have to replace the worn parts to keep it running.
My 2014 Tundra with 5.7L 3UR-FE V8 motor has 126,000 miles/203,000 KM. The Alaskan roads and Yukon, Canadian roads will put a lot of wear and tear on the suspension.
