From the start of his pool career, he had total respect for all the top pool players, and knew his own weaknesses in pool. I don't know, if Reyes played elite level snooker, but I couldn't find information for this.

Pretty much every pro snooker player in the top 32 would beat ANY pool player 7 to zero in a snooker match but give them a close game a pool contest. I'm not sure what this means - snooker is harder than pool - maybe. Snooker requires more experience - possibly. I wouldn't doubt Efren could have been a great snooker player - but he'd need at least 2 years practice to give Steve a mildly competitive contest

I used to play pool regularly, and then i tried snooker.
      Snooker is way more difcult.
Snooker tables are huge, so a bit off on the intended direction means you'll miss the pocket...

Is there a video showing the snooker match between them on a full-size table?

1 match Cherrypicked! Now type in ‘Steve Davis beats TOP pool player’ and check those results? This guy held the most watched snooker final in snooker history, he’s a legend of the game. Now, remember guys, pool and snooker are 2 entirely different games. Put a top pool player up against a top snooker player and see what happens? 99/100 the snooker player will prevail. Yet in pool, a snooker player has more chance of winning than a pool player has of winning at snooker. Snooker is a MUCH harder game than pool, by a LONG way!

Too right. Snooker is god-level compared to pool. Efren is an absolute legend in pool but the only way he'd get into the crucible is if he serves the drinks.

How about O’Solivan and Reyes on snooker table??

I've seen many Reyes shorts in passing and thought he was invincible. I thought this would be embarrassing for Davis tbh but after watching this it seems 7-2 was extremely flattering. At one point Davis would have been up 4-1 but for some poor potting.
Obviously he is going to be better at his own discipline but I think when he said 'and I got lucky' there was some truth to it.
Snooker players would never 'deliberately foul'
