For those that don’t know, at around 2:10 in, once you shake someone’s hand you are giving up and accepting the loss so Efren likes to have fun sometimes and purposely miss. It’s not a lie, it’s the truth, he’s done it several times just for fun because he already won once the opponent shakes his hand and the opponent shook his hand before he even shot because he knew that shot was just a given for Efren so that’s why Efren likes to purposely miss those easy shots when he can.

The genius of Efren Reyes lies in the creativity of his shots in tight ball situations that only he, among many other great pool players, is capable of thinking and executing with absolute perfection. And whenever he does this, he downplays it by saying, "I am just lucky."

At 4:05, yes the massive top spin to masse ball for leave on 7 was amazing obviously but what he does right after is just as impressive. He very casually proceeds to stretch out jacked up over the 8 ball LEFT HANDED to make the 7 and run out. Efrens the best there ever was, is or ever will be!
