In my humble opinion, Atencio's double jump tops them all. Cause it's been the first time we've ever seen someone do this.
@Jolan Krahn Physics.
@Jolan Krahn I think he played bottom on the jump causing it to pop back up when it made contact with the table again but carried forward with momentum.
I'm entirely willing to admit I may be misunderstanding it, but seems to make sense to me.
@@zeusdarkgod7727 maybe it's just that he played the first jump very high, i.e. with a lot of force, so when the cueball hit the table the first time it still had enough energy to bounce a second time. A more vertical arch of the ball compared to a regular jump shot.
Ikr, definitely the best shot, less probabilities and rare
It’s definitely been done before, a lot. Maybe not on this stage. I’ve done this in a for fun game, and so has at least one of my friends.
Just gotta jump the first ball very vertical and high, and it will naturally jump again
9:14 Double jump shot!!
07:24 wooooow
Por fin alguien que hace videos de las mejores jugadas 🙌 saludos desde Guadalajara Jalisco
9:15 that double time jump was the most insane
9:07 TWO JUMPS SHOTS IN ONE SHOT HAHAHAHAHA, WITH A SLIGHT DRAW!!! I have to learn this!
Love the Blue Danube soundtrack
Thanks for your feedback
As did I. It reminded me of a Warner Bros cartoon I seen as a kid! Lol
BRAVO Sanjin Pehlivanović legendo
Perhaps the only jump shot i would include in a video like this is shot 28 and some, not all, of the long banks or cross banks are amateur stuff. Anyway.. Nice editing 🙂
Thanks for your feedback
Tasty shots, Atencio is GOAT
I love that upper camera angle, looks like 8 Ball Pool videogame
Thanks for your feedback
Svb in the final of the european Open a insane cross-bank his penultimate shot
Thanks for your feedback
What about Carlo biado shots..most hard position.
Here that is
TOP 20 BEST SHOTS OF US OPEN POOL CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 | US OPEN POOL 2022| Ever Wondered

are the pockets on this table different from the tables at local pool clubs and such. They feel way more forgiving than what i usually play on, for example, the shot at 1:58 would have never gone in on the tables i play at. Im no pro, but its not like ive played for a month either, been playing atleast once a week for a 3 years now and played in a few local tournaments so i'm not a complete beginner but hitting from the same angle and at the same speed as some of these shots, it feels impossible that they go in.
I think the table surfaces are different
The balls too
In my local pool club , you d need more strength than that to get that shot in
New cloth makes balls slide in
Big hole
Thanks
This just makes me miss watching the great Efren Reyes do some surprising rail work banking. He still lives around some tables and chess boards.
Thanks for your feedback
Hate that felt color. What were they thinking?
You added many basic jump shots. But you forgot the best one I've seen since Nick Vandenburg's 2012 Mosconi Cup jump shot (Atencio'a double jump is probably tied for first place with Vandenburg's).....
Tyler Styer's jump/kick shot...

Thanks for your feedback… shot was performed after the release of our part -1 . However this shot has been covered in my later video. Please watch and comment.

Kicking at a ball and fluking it in is not a "nice shot". Unless it was difficult to hit, then that part is nice.
take off the sound effect it is annoying
Shot 31 was best shot
35
Mostly 'sensational" shots. Lots of routine banks and jumps. Lots of fluke results. The double jump was nice. I always hope for a highlight reel of the kind of shots that would impress a top pro. SVB's kick-ticky (#11) might qualify. But I think most really impressive skill shots would be combinations of difficult shots and precise position. Shot #20 is a pretty good example of a very proficient shot. Sometimes unnatural break-outs or creative safeties are very skillful, but they are not always as sensational or crowd-pleasers. I understand that collecting and editing these was a lot of effort and it was a good job.
Thank you for your feedback
The fact the 1 ball went in on the second shot shows how lose the pickets are....that would never go in at my pool hall
Thanks for your feedback
@@EverWonderedPool is that all you say? thanks for your feedback? it seems very robotic and insincere. why dont you try making your comments more personable. im gonna laugh if you just right thanks for your feedback to this comment
Strickland invented the jump shot
Very nice compilation, although can I please have the house' address of the person that added the SWOOOSH sounds so I can burn it down? thanks
apologies
The share drum flam blows
Thanks for your feedback
80% are hit and hope shots... pockets so big that you hit it hard enough morer times than not the ball finds a pocket.
Thank you for your feedback
what is that loud whooshing sound before it shot? it's very annoying
So easy to easy that the pockets were not 4inch on most of these events. Mosconi def yes, these others obviously bigger.
Thanks for your feedback
Number 1-5 are common shots😅💯
Thank you for your feedback
Chill out with the sound effects.
Thanks for your feedback
The edited in sounds are way too loud. Because of this you cant put the sound loud enough to hear the original footage
thanks for your feedback.. we are not using that sound anymore.
sound effects totaly runined this
Really sorry to know. However we don’t use this sound anymore in videos. Thanks
Best flukes of all time
Thank you for your feedback
Jump shorts should never be allowed.
Thank you so much 😊
Y not?
@@theseattlegreen1871 Jump shots shows people don't know how to play pool. The next thing you know they will want ball in hand if they don't have a shot.
Great collection and music . Geometry almost as important as skill level!!!!!!!! You need to understand geometry to play pool.
Thanks for your feedback
Jumping should be taken out of pool. Ruining the game imo
Not necessarily jumping, but the short jump cues. If a player wants to jump they should have to use their playing cue. Those short jump cues have essentially taken the tactical strategy out of the game.
You might as well ban jumping altogether. Can you imagine all the damage to cloth if everyone tried jumping with a full length cue? Not to mention that players who prefer a soft tip will have no chance jumping full length cue against someone playing with a hard tip.
The sound effect is VERY annoying with headphones in
Thank you for your feedback
People losing their minds over dead in jump shots and one banks
Thanks for your feedback
Snare drum hit!?
Thanks for your feedback
The pockets are so big, total esay for the Profs
Yeah… let’s play the next one on a Russian Pyramid table. Because I wanna see professional pool players missing shots.
Top Lucky shot u mean?
Thank you for commenting
The title should say "top jump shots of 2022". You people think that by being a jump shot, it automatically makes it a great shot. For professional players who jump the ball all the time, it's just another shot. There are many more other shots you could've shown that are better. Stop gloryfying the jump shot. It's not that difficult.
Thank you for commenting
song
blue danebu
Jump shots is just, meh.
Bank it instead, jump shots is for noobs.
Yeah, let's see you replicate Atencio's shot then, Mr. World Pool Champion.
Yeah, because, Shane Van Boening, Jayson Shaw, Joshua Filler, Earl Strickland, Alex Pagulayan, David Alcaide, Albin Ouschan, Corey Duel, Skyler Woodward, Chris Melling etc.....all considered the best in the world and all time, regularly use the jump shot when playing. Yeah, you are right. They are all noobs. You sound ridiculous.
Btw, if they jump they can't bank, they would have to kick. Get the terminology correct if you are going to insult their approach to the game.
@@lifebybill1326 Wait, they can't bank after a jump shot?
@@casper14301 no , I'm saying if the are unable to kick or bank because of obstacle balls then they resort to jumping...... that's what I meant....not they were not allowed to but tactically
now put out a video of these exact same shots on a snooker table and let's see how that goes.
Thanks for your feedback
It's funny, you would think that the greatest snooker players in the world that made the jump to playing 9 ball would dominate with smaller tables and bigger pockets........name a world renowned snooker player that dominated 8/9 or 10 ball like they did in snooker? Don't worry. I'll wait. I'll give you one..... Allison Fisher.
@@lifebybill1326 I've noticed there is just a huge difference in the two games. snooker is about potting balls very accurately well 9-ball is about more so "trick shots" trying to get out.
Judd tried the US open and it did not go too well. just goes to show they are two different games.
oh and also I was referring to the table size and the pocket size. not the two different games.
@@mrthiefy Yeah, this topic is always piss poor.
I enjoy watching EU, US and UK pros playing chinese 8ball. Where all of them struggle. 8ball players with accuracy and they have to dial down extreme english and snooker players with pattern play where slowly loosing position is forcing them to into tougher shots.
Jump shot shouldn’t even be legal
thanks for your feedback
8:39 is a bad shot
Thanks for your feedback
Basic jump shot with shit position after is not a great shot.
Thank you for your feedback
Way too many basic shots.
I can confirm that this guy don’t know pool at all lol
These are all great shots, but some of them are relatively easy, especially jump shots
Just don’t put 40 shots in a “shot of the year” video
And also, a lot of shots I’ve seen in 2022 are harder than some of these
Thanks for your valuable feedback!
Moreover, it’s part -1 as 2022 is still going (even you may read it on thumbnail i.e. Part-1).
@@EverWonderedPool 40 is just too much
Maybe you should cut it down to like 10 for part 1 and another 10 for part 2
Putting too much shots in a video will make it lose quality imo, since great shots are too rare to make up for a long video
@@EverWonderedPool also, it’s a good idea to put the player’s name on each shot
Why this stupid music ? 😢
Please watch new videos, music has been removed.
bad editing
Thanks for your feedback
none of this is terribly impressive
A carem, masse ,or jump, cross side shots , in the top 40 of the year.. seriously?
Show me a couple timing shots with shape and we'll be talking impressive
Thanks for your feedback
Too many jump shots
Thanks for your feedback
