My family comes from Antigua! It’s a very nice island but not a lot of people know about it! I go there every summer for about 2 months because my grandma has a home there!
Hi Gabriel, I'm surprised now you're venturing out to the Caribbean, and it's a good time to roll out there are no major tourist crowds to deal with you should have most beaches to yourself at reasonable prices so you're avoiding the tourist season crowds around the islands and avoiding much of the rainy season and extremely hot weather. Get plenty of Vitamin D good for avoiding Covid-19.

The mongoose was brought into the Caribbean islands because they will attack and kill venomous snakes for food. The plural of mongoose is mongooses NOT mongeese: one mongoose, two mongooses.
I like that you put reggae music at the beginning to emphasise the Caribbean. I think you can only visit half of the island on Montserrat. The other half is excluded because of frequent volcanic eruptions I believe
The eruption of the Soufriere Hills volcano in 1997 destroyed two-thirds of the island of Montserrat and displaced thousands. More than half the population were evacuated and got a free one-way ticket to England. Montserrat is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. Those who stayed are still living in emergency shelters.

@@TheManuel012009 I'm in Australia, saw him live a few times when they toured in the 80's, he blasted a few sixes our way on the hill. Funny thing is I actually supported the Windies instead of Australia, because of him, Garner, Ambrose, Lara etc. I eventually grew bored of cricket over the years, but still remember Viv and co. clearly.

Get a rental car, you will need one to see the island.

76 dollars a night!?! Gabe i thought you were a budget vlogger? i wanna see deals haha. Also when you show the prices of food youve been getting in past videos i'm about to faint, you should splash the cash but for the vlog i would love to see more deals.
The Caribbean is very expensive for accommodation. 76 dollars a night is a bargain. At most of the beach hotels you will pay 250 to 300 dollars per night! So you get the picture now?
@@normanlee31 i agree, kinda. i checked airbnb and there where plenty of places under 50 bucks so i was a little baffled.
@@PaulHart42069 budget or not gabriel frequently stays in places between 60 and 80 eur a night. All together his monthly rent would probay be over 1000 eur. I found a monthly rental in prague for 580 eur a month
Airbnb usually doesn't have as great of deals once you plug in specific dates, especially if it isn't very far in advance, and then remove the shared accommodation option (not interested in sharing a place with someone). That was pretty much the cheapest thing on the island. The Caribbean is generally pretty expensive.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos yes also the final price is often much higher than the initial price because at the end they add whopping 'service fees'! So if you just browse superficially the prices you see are often less than you will actually pay when you complete the booking!

Yes he is, but he has no other options. Needs to continue recording otherwise it is back to working for someone in national park.
@@nebojsa1976 I don't get the feeling that he is sick of it from his videos, but of course he may well be! I am sure he would have a lot more options than working in a national park now with all his travel experience. I know of another person who has traveled to every country in the world and now works as a travel consultant for TV and radio stations, writes articles for newspapers, and magazines etc, or Gabriel could go to work for a tour company or travel agent!
@@normanlee31 he can still keep making content on youtube even if he stays at one place and starts focusing more on other things in life such as spending quality time with the ones close to him which at the end of the day is what matters most in life. There are plenty of youtube content creators that do not travel like this and make content about where they are at. Check out jonna jinton for example. Many people say that its some of the best content on youtube and that they would like to have that kind of life if they could find it
