What a lovely place. My ideal day would be 1] eating many different dishes as I love West Indian food 2] visiting a few historic sites and 3] going to a cricket match a Test Match or a local village game as matches there are fun and more fun. Enjoyed your video it was brilliant.
No wonder they call it paradise. I also really liked Harry’s daughter. Lovely person.
She was super lovely and could not have been a more gracious and welcoming host. Smiling Harry's was delicious and we're grateful we got the opportunity to try so many new flavours and Antiguan dishes at one time 😋 Ducana is my number one recommendation for Antigua and Barbuda now...or anything on the BBQ at Harry's ;)

I guess the "sting" is deceptive since they are quite docile and rarely stick that thing in people. 365 beaches???? OMG wow! Amazing. This was our first time in Antigua and Barbuda and we’d love to go back. Goodness me, what a paradise of natural beauty. I was a little apprehensive about the stingrays at first but they give instructions and it was really something to be so up close. SO soft. Glad we had the chance to do it. ☺️
I swear I hear myself screaming in stingray city still! Luckily I did get over my fear 😂

Loved the video. I have a day in Antigua as part of a cruise in a couple weeks and hadn't really decided on what to do. I read a lot, watched some videos, then THERE YOU WERE. Love the energy and joy. The ebike trip looks amazing so I'll be booking one independent of the ship's offerings. If you have a company/individual you would recommend I'll go with them. Questions.. do you suggest renting a car and is it easy to park at all the beaches?
Good questions! Antigua has 365 beaches so I can't say if ALL the beaches have easy parking haha ;) We didn't rent a car personally but I think it'd be a great way to get around the island and beach hop. Many of the beaches we visited did have accessible parking options. Having a rental car would give you lots of freedom to explore at your own pace.

Glad you enjoyed it! This was a press trip so in most cases our transportation was pre-arranged, however, there are plenty of taxis and cars for hire as well.

I’m still not sure about the stingrays… I’m not scared of them, I just feel a bit weird about touching them lol What are your thoughts? 🙂
@@johannaeszes6498 I totally understand. Of course you could do the tour and opt not to touch them (though can't rule out they won't touch you as they glide by...). I will say they are incredibly soft and the guides are there to help keep both you and the stingrays safe. Even if you just go out on the water and stay on the floating dock it's really neat to see so many of them swimming around in the crystal clear water. Have fun whatever you decide! :)

Antigua is alright. Much preferred Martinique, more interesting culturally, better rum, French chefs.
We haven't been to Martinique. Have you visited other parts of the Caribbean as well?
