Keith should be in the Hockey Hall of Fame for, if nothing else, essentially cloning himself twice over.
Chuk boys are both good but often embarrassing
Keith should be the Hall of Fame 🙌🏻
-500+ goals
-Two 50-goal seasons
-First U.S.-born player to lead the league in goals
-Consistent
-Gold at 1996 World Cup of Hockey
-Silver at 2002 Winter Olympics
-IMO one of the Top 10 U.S.-born hockey players of all time
Yes, I’d take Keith over Lindros.
I remember as a kid getting a PlayStation for Christmas, and the first game I got for it was NHL Breakaway 98 with Keith Tkachuk on the cover. Fun game.
Keith Tkachuk has a big presence in St. Louis. Robert Thomas even lived with him during his rookie year.
Should St. Louis retire his *#7?* It's retired in Arizona
Tkachuk is one of the most underrated players of all time
Favorite all time Yote, got a custom jersey last szn of tkachuk
One of my first jerseys was a Tkachuk ‘Yotes jersey I got while visiting Phoenix back in 1997. One of my favorite players from that era.
He was here in Winnipeg a short time but he had a huge impact and was a fan favorite. One of best Power forwards of all time right up there with Neely and Shanahan.
Man, I loved Keith Tkachuk. Excited to see this video pop up.
I had Coyotes season tickets the whole time Keith Tkachuk played in Phoenix and it was a lot of fun to watch him play.He was very strong on his skates and was a handful around the crease where he scored most of his goals. He was also quite the hothead which added to the fun.I wish he could have stuck around a bit longer.
A man blessed with strength and spirit, I hope his sons can influence others with the physical gifts and talents to have the personality of these guys. True power forwards are my fav player type, next to the Shea Weber types on the blue line.
I was 10 when he was traded to STL. Needless to say, he was an icon to us in STL.
Love big Walt! Him and Doug weight were some bright spots on some BRUTAL blues teams I. The early aughts
Honestly was curious and wondering if a Keith Tkachuk career video had been done last week and started going through the playlist on the channel to see. Cool to see it’s here now. Great vid
1998 Yotes team was good and pushed my Wings farther than most expected
Absolutely agreed! (IMO he should be inducted into the hall of fame)
Loved him as well when he was with the coyotes
One of my most favorite players ever!❤
Great career. Great video!
RETIRED NHL 500+ GOAL-SCORERS
NOT IN THE HOCKEY HALL OF FAME
1. 566 - Patrick Marleau
2. 538 - Keith Tkachuk
3. 522 - Pat Verbeek
4. 515 - Pierre Turgeon
5. 513 - Jeremy Roenick
6. 503 - Peter Bondra
He played for both Winnipeg Jets!
Haha crazy!
In his prime, he was one of the most sought after players in fantasy. If you couldn't get Jagr, Bure, Hasek, or Kariya, you wanted Tkachuk because he'd score you a ton, get you some power play goals, and he'd be among the leaders in PIMs. Loved him.
His consistent performance and being made captain that early in his career says a lot. That trade was a red flag, playoff teams would field all stars, most acquired at the trade deadline.
I wonder if Walt or Brett is the Blue who's drunk in public more often in retirement? 😂 Love it.
Hull hands down, dude is still Mia from the 19 cup win 😉
@@theramplocal guy went on a little bender there, lol
pretty impressive '93 playoff where he record 4 goals 0 assists & 14 points... lol
Keith Tkachuk is my favourite player of all time. I wouldn't be the Blues fan I am if not for him. His retirement made me just as emotional (if not more so) as the Blues winning the Cup.
You didn't mention the Hockey Hall of Fame chances.
I didn't like him as a Hawks fan, but respected his game and a legend of how hockey should be played. He was a man's man and a great dad! Good job Keith making hockey enjoyable!
Goal a game, 2pt a game player in the playoffs is pretty impressive honestly.
Keith Tkachuk was a monster. I loved everything about his game. Badly wanted him on the Rangers but alas it was not meant to be.
If Detroit drafted him at #3 instead of Primeau he would won several Stanley Cups with them, and they wouldn't have needed to trade for Shanahan, which they did for Primeau and Coffey.
Finally!
Keith was badass before that word was invented. Loved watching him as a kid. He was at his peak when I started watching in high school.
Well now you have to do videos on Roenick and Doaner too, Shannon
Most importantly is that he has a Yotes bobblehead lol
Hi THG, great Videos! But if i´m not wrong, Keith Tkachuk has 527 assists for 1065 regular season points! The famous mistake you are hiding in your Videos! 😉
I really liked Keith as a kid. Now that I'm older and hear his sons play a similar style, I realize my tastes have slightly changed 😂
Due to my age, he will always be a Blue to me.
Due to mine, he’s the first I think of when seeing the Kachina, JR and The Boolin Wall round out the top 3
Fun fact: Keith was my little league baseball coach, and I played on a team with none other than his son Brady
is Patty elias apart of the THG HOF?
I think so
"6 goals for 7 points." What a legend. 😂
Federov's skating.
Grew up in Winnipeg, was a big fan of Keith Tkachuk as a Winnipeg Jet
No idea why he’s not in the HOF
One of the extremely few players to score 50+ goals and 'suffer' 200+ penalty minutes during the same season.
Has anyone scored more career goals than Tkachuk and *not* made the hall of fame?
We are waiting on Jagr, Marleau, Ovi... 😉
he sure gained a lot of weight after his playing days were over
Most players do. They don't usually work out and many of them don't skate anymore either.
Forgot to mention he went his entire career, playing hard-nosed hockey, without losing a single tooth. Then on his final season he blocked a slap shot from the point with his mouth, losing a ton of teeth. It still kind of bums me out that he went his entire career without getting a tooth knocked out to losing a mouthful his last season.
"In the playoffs, 4 goals, no assists for 14 points"
If only PIM counted as points... I wonder who would be the all time points leader, ROFL.
Oops you shorted him 100 points.
No, he has 527 assists.
awesome. now do a video on Wes Walz
Ew no. As Wild fans we have to hear that empty head in a suit blow hot air almost every game, don’t give him any more attention.
Yooo I remember him. Haven’t heard that name is ages lol
Keith was a great hokcey player, fantastic power forward. But Keith was always about Keith first, team second.
So how about a career video of PJ Axelsson?
8:56 nice
I am once again asking for a Mike Richards and Mike Green career video
Currently Keith is overweight asf,but yeah,he was for sure a heck of a player !
Most ex pro athletes gain weight. They’re rich and they eat well and don’t burn as many calories.
It's called aging.
Thank you.
Big fan of Captain Coyote!
As long as they keep black balling JR... fuck the hall of fame
I wonder if hes the best player that will never be in the hall of fame? Are there players that are actually in the hof that don't have 1000 1000 500 but made it because of a cup?
It's quite a few of them in HHOF.
@@SverigeiSverige that's fucked up
