People often say I have the best job!
Doing what I love, seeing the joy of people fishing while I get to fish as well, sure is pretty special.
Thanks to Sea-Doo getting involved with the fishing industry, thousands more jet ski fishers are now enjoying the sport and I get to do it with them.
I design and sell Jetskifishing accessories, plus arrange adventures and competitions through out New Zealand at stunning locations. I also get to fish other countries and meet people loving the sport from all around the world!
My local adventures see jet-ski fisherman and fisherwoman of all experience levels, they have fun while going fishing together and learn more about the sport.
For this adventure we are fishing at a remote location and the girls on this trip really step it up on the last day landing some big fish!
This is part three of the latest adventure where we visit the Coromandel in New Zealand.
Join us on our next adventure we we head to Doubtless Bay with our group of 70 jetskifishing anglers, only a few spots left!

Group is getting bigger and bigger
It's always a fun group at this venue, close to 40 guests. The next trip in October at Doubtless Bay has over 70 of us 🙂

How many hours have you had on your ‘skis? Wondering out of curiosity how many hours a guy could rack up on. SeaDoo fishin rig😃
I complete approximately 150 engine hours on the water each year. I know of late model skis like the FISH PROs already running over 1,000 hours hassle free…

Do you have a video on on do general maintenance on your trophy,flushing,check list etc.
I have just bought a trophy and it’s sounds like there’s a rattle when flushing is this normal?

Sure was a beautiful day! The day before was the opposite extreme… Congrats on your Trophy, I’ve been meaning to do some some of maintenance guide as I take it for granted my process. Basically I flush my ski for just over a minute, I start the ski with the hose already connected(water not turned on at first) as soon as the ski is started, I urgently turn on the water and leave it running for just over a minute. Then I disconnect the hose, give the ski a couple of light revs and then shut the ski off and yes it does sound like a rattle while running out of the water (also check this with your Sea-Doo dealer if it’s acceptable)
I diligently hose water everywhere over and under the ski (plus up the intake and in jet pump) and if riding in really rough water a light mist spray in engine bay and then I leave the seats off to let it dry and moisture to evaporate from engine bay. Seats are better left standing up in garage to let any water drip out. Hope this helps!

I haven’t sorry, I’ve sold over 300 of them to date but am phasing them out over the next month once they sell out (they cost to much to manufacture with the time to replicate each one on a jig)
