  • This video shows how to convert a basic $200 Indoor Spin Bike into a Smart Bike by using your iPhone, iPad, or Android combined with an High Tech App called BitGym. Smart Bikes like the Indoor Peloton Exercise Bike cost upwards of $2000, and this setup is nowhere near that price. I have no problem recommending this fantastic app to you!
    The BitGym scenery and sound is fantastic, so you feel like you are outside getting a great workout exploring locations around the world instead of pedaling away inside while you get bored to tears watching the clock.

    Thank you so much! Bought a manual bike by accident - I could survive without a display, but this just takes a workout to another level. Love that your info is concise too, no needless yakking, like some CZcams stuff.

    Oh. My. Goodness! I first watched this video on June 29, (but then life got super busy). In between getting my spin bike then and now, I’ve been watching so many other review vids but I always kept remembering yours! I was afraid I wasn’t going to find it again, but I’m so happy I did!!!!! Thank you for this all encompassing review, I will probably be getting this app thanks to your awesome video. :) I can’t wait to experience. thank you so so much for sharing :)

    Is there a spin bike where you don't have to lean forward like bikers do? Can I adjust handles so I can seat in a more upright position when biking? I have 2 buldging disk in my back so I would like to be able to adjust seat and hundles where I can keep back straight and with good posture while spinning.
    Looks uncomfortable to use bike leaning forward with head almost touching handles like I have seen people do and also arching back while placing hands on handles??
    also does bottom gets very sore and painfully after spinning workout, specially doing it every day or every other day for 30-40 min??
    I been trying to decide between this and echo rogue airdyne bike to use at home for hitt and maybe long biking workouts...
    Bike looks pretty cool and I know it will give me a good workout, however I don't know if Iam gonna a like just seating there pedaling for 30- 40 min..
    I lift 3x a week and every other day 2x a week I do 30 min hitt workouts..
    Battle rope, kettle bell, punching bag, ply box, airdyne etc, etc...
    I always do 40sec on 20 off with a variety of exercises for 30-35 min..
    Don't know if the spinn bike will fit in my workouts or if I really need it? Maybe if I don't feel like doing hitt I can jump on the spin bike and do a peloton workout or something like that.
    Do you think spin bike is for people that don't like doing hit workouts or people that don't have any other equipment or maybe they just like biking?? Sorry for all the questions..just trying to decide between spinn bike and airdyne bike..
    Thank u

      Hi Marco,
      I do not have any back pain while using my spin bike, so my advice is just my opinion without actually trying it it out myself.
      Given my disclaimer, I would try both Recumbent (allows you to sit up with back support) and Upright Bikes before you purchase anything. Pain would demotivate me from spending enough time on the bike as well as might cause more harm than good.
      I use the stationary bike as cross training for tennis. It seems to keep my knees pain free. When I stop using the bike, I definitely get more knee pain out on the court.
      Hope this helps!!

    Hi, for one how does that actually work? and two on the console on your bike (i have the same one) how do you change it from KM to ML? thanks.

    • @TennisTipsDaily
      @TennisTipsDaily  Před rokem +3

      The software uses the front camera on the iPad or iPhone for example to detect the speed of your movement to calculate your speed. Sorry, I do not know how to change the settings on the bikes monitor.

    Do I need a cadence sensor? I have a really cheap spin bike. Not sure how BitGym is even going to get my RPM from it.

    • @TennisTipsDaily
      @TennisTipsDaily  Před 4 měsíci

      No sensor needed. It uses the camera on your iPhone or iPad to determine how fast you are pedaling. Hope this helps!

    Great video thanks but you say basically it's using the camera out from the phone but you are connected to your Ipad you mean the camera from the tablet is looking you straight....if I understand the idea

    • @TennisTipsDaily
      @TennisTipsDaily  Před rokem

      Correct, It used the camera of your phone or tablet when you place it on the handlebars.

  • @jorbontabugsy
    @jorbontabugsy Před rokem +1

    It can't be so precise normally it must to take the dimension of your wheel I don't see any set up from your side Does using the front camera or rear let me know thanks

    • @TennisTipsDaily
      @TennisTipsDaily  Před rokem +1

      Hi Bugsy, It is using the front camera to detect your body motion. It is not perfect, but it changes speed relative to your movement speed which does a great job of giving you the feeling of moving faster and slower based on your pace. The idea is to make it more interesting to ride the bike which it does very well. Hope this helps!

  • @fallenprincehouman1114
