Started using this 3 weeks ago, it does everything you could possibly want. Just need to spread the word a bit more to get more riders onboard. Why pay a monthly subscription when you have this app
Definitely. More riders on the events would make it more fun when riding.
Not available on Apple devices WTF 🙈🙈🙈🙈
What sort of device are you using? I’ve just double checked from my iPhone and iPad in case removed for some reason and is on AppStore on both. Are you trying from an older iPad?
@@trivelobikes hi, I am using the app on my iPhone 12 as my old iPad is not capable of running the MyWhoosh app
Might try this app when my trainer gets in. It's not an interactive trainer so not sure how realistic it will feel. But no doubt they will add subscriptions when their 'trail period' is is up.
Thanks for this Billy. Like you say, difficult to moan about an app with this amount of functionality that's free, although, like you, I wish some of the data was in a bigger font.
Everything good. Just the fonts are so small, can'tsee them. ..my fault maybe because I'm using my phone. My tablet is just too old to support the hardware requirements.
Wait. Microphone? So, I can use my earbuds (which have a microphone) and talk to other riders?
I love MyWhoosh. I have a question about gradient feel under settings. Should I keep it at 50 or 100 percent or even 0 percent?. Will all of this affect my speed during a ride or race?
Hi. It will affect race speed. It allows you to dial down the resistance from the gradients. If you decrease this your speed will bump up as a result. I love the gradients trying to bump up my wattage working on my FTP.
@@trivelobikes ok thanks, I guess I’ll keep it at 50 percent. Isn’t it unfair when racing when one person has it at 50 and another person at 0 percent?
Agree. It can make comparable performance between riders difficult.
I have not tried mywhoosh but if its anything like Zwift then it would't affect your speed, it will only affect the resistance you feel at the trainer side.
Most racers turn this to 0 to limit the gear changes needed as the resistance wont change when you hit an incline, but in game speed has to change, otherwise we'd see everyone flying at 35 kmh on 10% inclines 😂😂
Hello, can i connec my Tacx boost with MyWhoosh or this is only for Devices with power source?
The Tacx boost I don’t think is a smart turbo trainer with Bluetooth but uses manual resistance control. This wouldn’t work with MyWhoosh as it needs Bluetooth to connect.
Will this work on a Bike Erg from Concept2 ?
Hi. No the concept 2 does not have smart connectivity to an indoor cycling app. It can connect to Strava and Garmin connect via the Concept app but the bike doesn’t connect itself.
What about TrainingPeaks integration?
Not yet. We are doing a Training Peaks review currently and will give more insight on the integration.
Can mywhoosh upload on strava?
Yes. It will integrate to Strava. It doesn’t integrate to Garmin which I found a bit annoying as Zwift and Rouvy both update Strava and Garmin automatically
It’s alright if you have a gaming PC in your garage, otherwise the FPS or graphics are dreadful.
I found it fine on an iPhone 13 in the end after issues with laptops and tablets including iPads. Screen size only issue.
@@trivelobikes I already have my phone mounted in portrait mode on my bike while riding, and use it for other things, not for running the actual cycling app.
Completely agree with @@scottvessey915 here. My old Zwift setup was a tiny Lenovo PC which whilst it didn't have a dedicated GPU, it ran Zwift fine on all be it on lowish settings. I then changed PC so I could run Zwift better, old 8th gen intel CPU with a Radeon RX 6400 GPU. Ran Zwift much better, and tried MyWhoosh again. Whilst it actually ran this time, the framerate was awful. Just before Christmas, I upgraded again, a current-gen AMD CPU and a Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU. Runs Zwift at 4k silky smooth and I now get fairly decent frame rates from MyWhoosh. This will be the single biggest blocker to them getting a big user base. Unless you want to use a new flagship phone or the latest iPad, you have to get a fairly decent spec gaming PC to get the thing to run.
My laptop made this gorgeous looking game look like I was using a zx spectrum from 1985.
