The consistency and duration of Ukrainian air strikes are somewhat surprising. Previously, attacks were limited to individual drones. It appears that significant gaps have been created in Russian air defenses in Crimea and the southern front area, allowing drones to move in greater numbers over Crimea towards southern regions of Russia.

Hey, because of this channel one of my ideas made it all the way to the battlefield, and I'm hoping another idea makes it, I came up with the idea instead of shooting those rope detonation ordinances out of tanks Why not have it to where you can connect them over and over and over in three lanes of RC cars that send the ropes dragging behind the cars, because they're weight won't detonate landmines itself that way you can clear out three lanes and also connect as many ropes as you can to go across the battlefield on the back of RC cars then dragging them behind it, because those cannons of rope detonation ordinances was not as stealthy, I'm hoping that they use a mirror film, as we use on the back of glass to see ourselves in them, why not use a mirror film wrap on drone boats? And then put some type of anti-reflective film over the top of that? I also think that mirror rap would work on Bradley's and tanks as well, especially when you're in the woods it'll look like it's not even there, I got the idea off of the desert scene on Star wars to make it look like the car was hovering across the desert they used a box and then they put mirrors on the box and it didn't look like anything other than it floating in the air, it's first generation invisibility cloak, let's call it 'Adams cloak' I've been with the channel since day one, I've donated quite a bit of money in the first year and a half, and I plan to do so in the future. I really truly think that this is an amazing idea and if anybody can get this idea to the ukrainians it would be this channel. Please pass my idea along they're using my RC detonation rope drag behind system, why not use the mirror film Adam's cloak wrap.. especially forested areas, all one would have to do is put a light tint over the mirror film that the tanks get wrapped in and the drone boats, just think about that if you're in a pinch and you need to use a drone boat there's absolutely no way they'll see those coming at all You can drive right up to them..bada bing bada BOOM!

@@latelarsson5784 There was Karelian settlements in the area, but it's not very clear exactly where. I don't know what the Karelians called the area (judging by the place names in the area, it wasn't anything germanic-sounding), but the word "Borg" implies that it was named after a fortification, and the Swedes built one in 1293 there.
The point made wasn't that the area was a barren wasteland before the Swedes built a castle there, the point is that the name "Viborg" , not "Viipuri", has been the name of the city for the vast majority of the last 800 years and long before it fell to Russia in 1810. And from what I understand (I can be wrong here though), "Puri" in this case is basicly just a finnophocation of "Borg".

The results convinced the U.S. Navy its undersea sensors simply were not up to dealing with the stealthy AIP boats.

Watching the video of the machine-gun drone, the recoil is not as much of a problem as you might think. A soldier on the ground firing a machine gun will have the bullets "climb" as recoil tilts the gun backward. The later bullets will fly up and far beyond the target. But because the gun is mounted on the bottom of the drone, the recoil tilts it down instead. So the drone can aim to the top of the target area and 'walk' the bullets back through it. Not accurate enough to put multiple rounds into a single target, but should be very effective against small groups of infantry, or for enfilading a trench line.

The drone is not limited the way a soldier is that needs to take ground to get a better firing position. A drone can fly directly above the enemy and shoot straight down at them. When firing straight down recoil effects would be reduced by the systems weight. If the recoil from the gun is mounted on the drones center of gravity every bullet should hit pretty close to each other. There would also be no need to adjust for range. Altitude would be the range and gravity would be pulling each bullet into the target. Drones could fire from altitudes beyond what the human eye could see them or possibly even hear them with the use of a suppressor. By shooting directly down into the trenches it would be bypassing almost all body armor except for their Chinese airsoft helmets.. There are still more advantages as well. These are but a few.
Another option would mount the gun even with and parallel with the props so it would not cause as much of a rocking motion. It would mostly push the drone in the opposite direction of the gun fire.I believe such a system would be more suited to a sniper role. Not a full auto LMG. The current system would be better suited to sniping as well. Almost pointless to have a LMG or SAW and only be able to fire so few rounds at a time.

If you have trouble understanding that, try understanding ‘adaptable communism’, which is the personal ideology of the first Turdeau. The Trudope Liberals passed the no pipelines law and want to eliminate fossil fuels by 2035. No thought to the fact that the country is 4700 miles across, not counting the North-south axis, and involves 6 time zones. Try supplying groceries without diesel fuel. Good luck… Trudope raised gas prices by CAD 17.61 cents/litre (other fuels are an additional 3-8 cents CAD higher) very recently. Canada’s current politicians can be relied upon to play in a sand box politely.

We make a distinction in American English that appears not to exist in Eastern Europe languages.
Mobilization is to reactivate people with military experience back into the military. It is part of the deal you sign up for after initial volunteering.
Conscription is to call up pure civilians and compel training and service. It is also known as the draft.
In US, men at 18 are obliged to register for conscription but that just puts you on a list of eligibility. No one expects that it will actually happen.

    • @w.reidripley1968
      @w.reidripley1968 Před 25 dny

Officially called in America the Selective Service. The selection part of it would be what you could call the codes for eligibility to get drafted -- or ineligibility. Draft Classification 1A is like perfectly eligible for the draft. 4F is medically unfit for armed service. There are other codes for deferred eligibility. The only draft classification I ever had was 1H at the time. I took that to mean "fully eligible, but the draft is inactive."

The machinegun on the drone should have pointed straight down. The weight of the gun and the drone could help offset recoil. The enemy would have almost no place to hide in a trench line since the entire trench line could be targeted. There would be no real need for range calibration since the shots were going straight down at the ground. An IR laser could be used as a sight for the gun with IR zoom camera for the guns optics. Higher altitudes also helps to make the drone harder to see and hear since now the drone could fly much higher than the troops on the ground could see or hear it until it fired. Even gun noise can be reduced with the use of a suppressor. I doubt people on the ground would know where they were being shot from. Lastly bullets arriving at such an angle could bypass most body armor worn by the enemy except for helmets.

Orc "advances" are an overstatement. I have not revisited the numbers recently, but here is what I concluded about 16 days ago.
    -=-=-=-=-
The Orcs have suffered 189,000 casualties since 5 October 2023, and gained a grand total of 255km2 of rural land (Ukraine's total area is 603,500 km2). That works out to a cost of 742.6 casualties per square kilometer conquered and a rate of conquest of 42.5 km2 per month.
With approximately 25,000 km2 of "Russian territory" in Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson remaining under Ukrainian control (not to mention the other ~491,465 km2 in the central and Western parts of the country) at their current pace the Orcs will have to expend an ADDITIONAL 18,565,000 casualties to achieve Putin's Plan B goal, and it will only take them 49 years to do it!
That assumes they can continue the pace they have managed on average over the past 6 months, which is a highly dubious prospect with an aid package valued at $60,840,000,000 arriving.

Regarding the Machine gun drone, 2-3 round bursts are adequate enough for it's role IMO. Whenever we did MG live firing, the vast majority of the firing was generally 3-5 round bursts due to recoil and the spread of the rounds in larger bursts. Longer bursts are ok with a larger target grouping of infantry etc, but ideally 3-5 rounds are best for accuracy on a specific target, such as an enemy MG post or a couple of infantry, etc. Also theses MG drones can fire from above, behind etc the target, possibly eliminating defensive cover advantages, and also out of EW range (possibly?).
