- I intended just to film a flip through of my new Tarot Of The Spirit deck by Pamela and Joyce Eakins. However by the time I was simply a few cards in the keywords were peaking my interest to grab my Thoth deck and compare them side by side.... so that’s what I did!
I found it fascinating to find similarities in the art work on this very first look at the images. I hope you find it interesting too.

Hi, Candy! I have both these decks and I love both of them... I think my version of the Tarot of the Spirit is different from yours. This deck is what I call "my third eye deck" because the blurry images make me see whatever I need to see in the images, almost like a Rorschach test. I often use these two together, they give me such wonderful insights... 💚 Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely love Tarot of the Spirit, but always stopped myself using it because I’ve not studied Thoth... but I really think I need to get over myself and just read it intuitively, Thoth or not!

Really enjoyed this comparison walk through, Candy! I love the Thoth deck but am pretty new to it in the last 6 months or so. It resonates with me much more than RWS but agree that the Thoth artwork is divine. Tarot of the Spirit has been on my wishlist and it will be fun to work with it when I get back to focusing on Thoth.

Oh I hope you love it. I know that Lisa Papez and dawn Michelle and Marlene Theresa were doing a Thoth study last year. They have videos up that might help. Also Lennan smith here on CZcams has lots of helpful Thoth videos ❤️

I think Thoth is in my distant future. Still working on RWS, and hopefully Marseilles. But the decks are beautiful, and the color palette correlation is interesting.

What an interesting deck!🌟 I love that it's one you can really sit with and study - being pulled deeper into all of the symbolism and artwork. Those companion books will certainly add to the depth that this deck offers. When you pulled out that clear card I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. HaHa. 😀 That's a neat feature! I, too, have a special love/interest in sacred geometry. I am drawn to, and really enjoy, fractals - especially the Mandelbrot set. I find it fascinating to discover all of these shapes and patterns among us in this beautiful world. Oh, seeing this deck beside the Thoth is stunning! I don't know Thoth well yet, but I have an interest to learn! Where oh where can I find more than 24 hrs in my day to learn **all the things** that light me up?! ⏰💫 Goodness both the Star + Moon cards in the Tarot of the Spirit are Divine! I just came across this video two 2yrs later. Lol! I've always been drawn to Tarot of the Spirit because of the beautiful artwork. Several times I almost pushed the buy button, but since I have no knowledge of the Thoth system, I thought buying Thoth and learning it first would be the best way go. Unfortunately, and I know I'm in the minority here, the images of the Thoth deck do not inspire me. I'm very much a visual perso, so if the art of a deck doesn't make me feel something I won't ever use it. So, after 2yrs, how do you like the Tarot of the Spirit? Is it pretty much the same system as Thoth or does it go its own way? Would I need to learn Thoth first to better understand Tarot of the Spirit? I noticed during the flip through that many of the names on the cards were quite different. Do you use it for specific readings, or just everyday readings? Are the messages you get deeply profound or just ok? I know, lots of questions.LOL! I've learned since finding your channel that you and I have very similar tastes in decks and artwork, so i value your opinions and thoughts. Thanks, Candy! Peace and ❤️. Lindsey
Lindsey it’s one I’m still using with the book which is amazing and it’s a beautiful and deep reader. As for comparing it to Thoth…. I havnt really got to grips with Thoth yet the main thing being for me from a beginner Thoth point of view I don’t see it as a completely different system. I think if you read rider Waite you can read Thoth. I don’t think you need to study Thoth first like you say there are differences. Perhaps it’s time for a deeper study for me ❤️
@CandySoulAndSoil thank you for your reply, Candy. To be honest, my spirit tribe doesn't really care which deck I use. They channel their messages to me through just about any deck. Though, they didn't like the Dreaming Way Tarot at all. LOL! They will find the perfect message for me in any deck, and often show me a flash of the card before it flies out of my hand or I choose it. @@Tarotismagic yes that’s a real worry. I’m sure you know just don’t buy a deck on Amazon that says party game or game anywhere in description or if it says it has a digital guidebook. Also check first what the box should look like as that can help weed out the fakes most of the time. ❤️

How did your studying for this deck happen.
To be honest apart from a little use here and there is didn’t happen. The Thoth I decided to pair with the fairy tale tarot (inner child cards) and once that pair of decks was worked with each other it just bonded them and so that was what I explored. Tarot of the spirit I worked on its own on and off but a full study hasn’t happened. Too much always to read and do. ❤️❤️
If I had to choose a soul deck this one is it. I love it so much. I haven't gotten the larger Kabbalah book by her yet. Do you like it? I love the Thoth deck too. The court cards in Tarot of the Spirit are so beautiful. And the aces too. I love it all.

Aren’t they both beautiful Jenn. Honestly I’ve done my deck interview with tarot of the spirit and it made me realise how powerful this is going to be. The book and the info on the cards is amazing and what’s hidden in the images that becomes obvious after you read the book. Blown away on first spread ❤️❤️
