Gearbox did the same thing for one of their fans of Borderlands who had to leave this plain of existence before he was able to play the game; if I recall correctly, they put him in the game as a random NPC with a special weapon to give the player.
If you hold the beachball in Paradiso, a woman will tell you to drop it, then a guard will start shooting you, and Andreja will leave your marriage. 8/10

Factions fight each other in game as well, I've had eccliptic ships land and raid pirate bases and heard you can get the random varuun shroudbreaker fighting the UC mothership (sorry forget what it's called the one you report to for the crimson fleet quest).
Pulling clothes and hair of companions will definitely make it's place in the "Rudest Details" episode 😅

Honestly as a long time gamer I have a certain fear of missing out when it comes to gaming so I can really relate to Alex Hay but lets face it all us true diehard gamers will be in his shoes one day R.I.P.
What funny is I didn’t know the screen shots went up into the loading screen and earlier I had taken some so when it was loading a picture of my Hab came up and I was thinking, ‘Damn, that Hab looks good. I’m going to build one just like it some day. Hey, that’s cool, I have my wind power turbines in the same place. Hey, I built mine on a cliff too. Hey…I used that big, green military Hab too….ohhhhhhh. That’s mine.’
The only thing that i was satisfied with yhe picking oobject when the character picks up the hair clothes from other characters

Bobby and his parents escaped some planet that was attacked.
Bobby's parents were on a different shuttle.
People didn't believe Bobby when he said his parents were going to arrive soon... they presumed they didn't make it and that he was just naive to think that they survived.
They were going to give him foster parents but lo behold, his parents really were alive and he is now reunited with them.

tbh the game is not perfect, the animation a little robotic, the mechanic is not that great for a next-gen, but somehow the game really hooks me up. i guess it's overall ambiance is just really good. and the story is not bad either. enjoying this game so far!

So many and I mean SO MANY people think this game is crap, but I honestly love it.

A little polish is required, sure.. But i've played many Ubisoft games so i am used to missing polish
Still bothers me that after the likes of Fallout 4 that there's no more visible damage on enemies. Makes the gunplay feel weak and stale really fast and the guns feel like fancy paintball guns with special FX. Pretty lame trend with most FPS these days.

Really good, it's the Elder Scrolls/Fallout formula but in Space.
Lots of things to see and do with plenty of ways to play, highly recommend!

@@sleeper5758only if you have no attention span or creativity. I was designing ships a hour and a half in and having a blast. But if you don’t like narrative games where you actually need to listen to the characters then you’ll be bored but that’s a player issue not a game issue

@2:07 (#4) - Bethesda introduced it in Fallout 4 with Codsworth, one of your robot companions, mentioning the player's name.
@6:34 - In reality and theoretically, especially in low gravity situations, I think firing a gun will push you slightly backward. But I think for the sake of making the game easily playable, Bethesda opted to ignore this physics.
If you fire a weapon in zero gravity areas it will push you back unless it's a laser weapon
Alex is lucky he never had to see the release of this piece of garbage.
