- I found these MTG Bundles at Costco for $39.99! It comes with a commander deck from Dungeons and Dragons, 2 promo cards, and 3 packs. From what I saw they had 3 different commander decks but they could have more.
What do you guys think!? Is it worth the price tag?

N'ghathrod's deck is definitely worth more than $40. Faldorn's deck isn't worth too much but its really fun, probably the most fun of the D&D commander precons.
Faldorn has Jeska's Will (~$20) and Passionate Archeologist (~$20)

A "Collector Booster Sample Pack" is a small booster that comes with most newer commander precons. It contains two random cards that could be found in a regular collector booster from the same set.

I'm not a 'pack opener' myself and am usually against any kind of 'blind box' from stores...but these things don't seem all that bad at all to me considering they come with commander decks. I'd rather purchase these things separately, but honestly I like these bundles!

Own both these commander decks and play upgraded versions of them regularly. They are a blast and play fine without upgrades. This is a great deal for anyone interested in the specific commander deck offered or for someone getting into commander magic.
It’s 4 months after this video and you would be lucky to find those commander decks for 40$. With promos and 3 packs that was a hell of a deal
Instantly got my friend to get me Exit from Exile and Party Time. So much worth. Pulled Aurelia and Elesh Norn in the packs.

Why is it that Costco somehow manages to make everyone happy with these extra packs + solid precons (Not including the packs in the precons), yet, Hasbro/WOTC honestly under performs! If they were to include precons with extra packs for the best price, they would be making billions and I'm not even joking about this guys! 😅
The mind flayarr deck is actually going for $70 in a lot of LGS's including amazon, so that one alone is already a steal

Realmbreaker is probably the best hit from the packs. Commander deck boxes open from the bottom. Pull tab.

That red/green precon with cards in it right now and packs is worth about 90.00 or so and the blue/black with the packs may get it to the 40.00 price tag

The box just opens on the bottom with a pull tab, and these newer decks have just one of those sample packs - there are no collector editions of cards actually inside the decks.
$40 is a great deal. The commander deck you did not open is pretty solid out of the box

My Costco never has goodies like these, as a gift for a new commander player I think these are great.

You opened the commander deck box the wrong way... that's why it didnt fit through. There's a pull strip at the bottom larger end of the box.

So a month in the future, the mind flayer commander deck is selling for 70-80 bucks, and the other one is going for 50, so these are a 120 value on the commander decks alone.

I think some of the worst advice ive ever gotten was not to build a Dakkon Blackblade(one of my fav characters) deck because he is a terrible commander.

Whats the value of the singles he got if anybody can guestimate? never played magic Just asking because generally speaking opening stuff at retail nets you like 60-80% value a lot of the time unless it's garbage pokemon...

Sample packs are in every commander deck. This is like collector's busters only for commander decks.
I’ve never opened a sample pack so I had to check it out
