The mistake is referring to Jewish Renewal as "new agey". This is about Ancient Wisdom...relating to "Spirit" ~ Divine Creative Intelligence, has always been, always will be. So, this is returning to the underlying mystical teachings and practices which align us with what created us and all living things. An aspect of the 'renewal' part ~ is bringing text and practice more aligned with present day life. I admire Tirzah for remaining in her Integrity with so much misunderstanding here.
