Yeah, it always gets me how many people are nonchalant about those. On like every menu I look at it's the biggest ripoff. Entrees? Not that bad. Desserts? Steep but sometimes worth it. Drinks? Well, you're only getting one anyway and let's just ignore the booze options. Appetizers? WHAT THE FREAKING...

This happened at my last visit to KFC. I spent $19 for a box of sad, dry chicken strips, eighteen french fries (I counted them) and a biscuit which had the texture of gypsum drywall. The best part was the medium Pepsi, which was above average.
Above average Pepsi is a raving Pepsi review for sure. Sounds like a 4/5
This happens with all Chili's, if you get an order to go instead of eating at the restaurant, you're going to get a half-assed order

Pretty consistently, the lower our expectations are at the start, the higher the score ends up being. So by that logic, when you finally do the gasoline sausage it’s gonna be amazing!

The ranch are different "flavors" of ranch for each item on the triple dipper. You got three items that have a variation of ranch, but other items like chicken crispers come with honey mustard or other sauces. The one that comes with the egg rolls is avocado flavored

The triple dipper is pretty labor intensive because you have to basically prepare several appetizers at once and it involves all the stations, so yeah it's expensive. You also should have gotten 3 types of ranch: regular house, avocado, and Santa Fe.
Avocado would just be overwhelmed by the ranch wouldn't it
