    I love people like you, that are so generous to share the information that they’ve learned with the country and the world, I can never get any information on how to succeed or prosper from my own family who runs successful businesses. It’s crazy how I have to get that information from complete strangers online.

      Always happy to help! I'm always baffled when successful people don't want to share the story of how they prospered... I've interviewed so many people who LOVE telling stories about how they got to where they are now!

    You are the BEST! Thank you so much for this video. We travel to Hawaii every year and the Vacasa tip is going to be our new way of staying there.

    Thanks for the video! That flexible calendar URL hack is a game changer. I’d love to see a tutorial on booking business class flights to international destinations when flying out of smaller US airports.

    Wow what a great video. I thought I already “knew everything” about Turkish to UA for Hawaii having used it earlier this year but I never knew the trick of not logging in to search for award availability which I was having trouble finding for a sold

    • @geobreezetravel
      @geobreezetravel  Před rokem +1

      Glad you found the tips helpful! United can definitely make it tricky by displaying some availability that's not available on partner airlines when you log in.

    Another point would be through flying blue. Often I find good value for direct delta flights for 17.5k pp domestic economy and they run promos on air france all the time.

      Flying Blue is a great way to use Capital One points, and their promo fares are definitely a sweet spot redemption, especially when stacked with a transfer bonus!

    Has anyone else found that United is no longer allowing you to see this without logging in, unlike what she said in this video. I hope its just a glitch. Otherwise, I'd love an update to this video!

    Thanks so much for the video! I'll definitely be using these tricks for my cap one points. Is there a list somewhere of the international local partners partnered with US airlines? E.g., American / British; United / Turkish?

    Thank you for your video! I have a trip from phoenix to Barcelona booked by my company and I’m looking into upgrading the cabin from economy to executive. The trip is added to my United App and I can see that an upgrade would cost me 20,000 points + $300. I only have 4,000 miles with United because I don't fly United frequently. Do you think I could transfer 20,000 miles from my capital one to Turkish Airlines, and then transfer it to United?

    • @geobreezetravel
      @geobreezetravel  Před 3 měsíci +1

      No, but you could move Chase or Bilt points to United for the upgrade. Or purchase the United miles thru united.com

  • @kgoodman16
    @kgoodman16 Před rokem

    Julia, have you run across any spreadsheets that lay out the various credit card benefits on a card by card basis.We've somehow collected 2 Amex Platinum cards, an Amex Gold card, a Chase Sapphire Reserve card and a Cap One Venture X card, not to mention hotel and airline cards. While i've certainly made good use of the sign up bonuses with various transfer partners, I can't help but think we're leaving money and benefits on the table, whether it's big things like travel expense reimbursements or trip insurance or little things like cell phone insurance or streaming or Uber credits.
    I'm hoping someone may have put together a spreadsheet that lists out each of the benefits that the various cards offer and made it available to folks.
    Appreciate the help

    • @geobreezetravel
      @geobreezetravel  Před rokem +1

      It's not a spreadsheet, but the free CardPointers app has a dropdown menu next to each card that shows the different benefits, and the Pro version even sends you reminders to make sure you make the most out of your card benefits and get the most out of your annual fees. With the cards you have listed, you might want to downgrade the CSR to a CSP since you probably don't need 3-4 premium cards. Those fees add up and the benefits can get redundant.
      Here's a link to CardPointers, and there's a special offer in there to get the cost of Lifetime Pro covered as well: www.cardpointers.com/geobreeze

    To calculate the cash equivalent of the Air Canada flight from ORD to OMA, wouldn't you need to convert the 47 CAD to USD? If yes, then it would work out to be $126. So definitely worth it to book via Air Canada.

    Are taxes and fees included in the 15k points per night Vacasa rentals offer or are they extra?

    Capital one travel do not show some flight 😒
    Example EWR TO BOM Air India(non stop)
    IF THEY'RE DISPLAYING some time it will be $5000 each ticket and reimbursement will be some sites they honor.
    This $5000 dollar ticket available outside Capital One Travel only $900😅

    • @geobreezetravel
      @geobreezetravel  Před rokem

      By "Capital One Travel" do you mean you're searching through the Capital One portal? I'd advise against doing that, since your Capital One points can go a lot further by transferring them to different partners to find better flight deals like we show in these tutorials.

      @@geobreezetravel Yes, but the Vacasa properties are way overvalued with all of the taxes and fees. Most places I've encountered are comparable to Days Inn or La Quinta

      @@911eVoX I challenge you to weigh the location, view, and amenities(kitchen/pool?) of a Vacasa vs. the full price (fees, taxes, etc) and amenities of any other property in Hawaii.
