Such an awesome hobby. I recently started out myself. What i learned so far, is that the rule of 500 is not apliccable at all. I go by the Npf Rule to get Pinpoint stars. Also untracked, i find it really difficult to get exposures that work for stacking. Clear skies fellow Astrophotographer. 🙂
